I've downloaded the open beta and will get to play it for an hour tonight. I am disappointed that I didn't get a key in advance as an Origin customer who bought the game the moment it went live for pre-order.
A lot of gamers bought into the hype that this would be the second coming. I'm disappointed by the 6 vs 6 multiplayer limit but I'm still looking forward to giving it a go. I'm not expecting anything other than Call of Duty in mechs because that's where most of the team came from so it would be silly not to expect them to be heavily influenced by their former titles having worked on them for so long
He should have the PS2 replaced with an Atari 2600 and the only game he is allowed to play is E.T
I'm disappointed with Dayz so far, it feels like stepping back 18 months so I hope Rocket will be doing less talking and mountain climbing and getting on with finishing this already late standalone. Too much missing so the group I play with have gone back to Dayz Epoch while we wait for Dayz to mature a little more
It's perhaps too little too late, there are cheats in every FPS game but I can't help but feel when playing Ghosts I'm in a very small minority who is not cheating, more so than any other game.
Just more PR spin, don't just talk about it - DO IT. A friend of mine is buying my PS3 and I will be strongly recommending PS+ to him, being new to the format he will have seven quality games to download right away.

For something on a more intimate scale like Doom or Counterstrike 6 vs 6 is fine but the size the arena's will have to be to accommodate mech's just won't suit 6 vs 6 and to fill that void with AI is just pathetic. The Xbox fanboys have been crowing about this title for a while and now they all scramble to defend it just because its an exclusive, well I have it pre-ordered on Origin for the PC but I'll call it as I see it and I'm disappointed.

Battlefield 4 was a poor release but it in no way represents the doom and gloom portrait painted by this blogger. Bigger and better and finally with 64 player servers on next gen consoles.

Project Cars is possibly the best looking racing game to date but I'm still not convinced by the physics, its improved a lot but its still a way off iRacing or Assetto Corsa at the moment but they are going in the right direction.
My wife bought me a Vita for Christmas to link up with my PS4 and it's a fantastic device. I've already bout a few Vita games and played a few rounds of Battlefield 4 on my PS4 using it. It feels like going back 18 months. They have added to the existing map and added a load of new enter able buildings yet loot is ridiculously scarce. I wandered through Cherno a few days ago and I saw one single zombie and no food. I think Rocket got a bit too wrapped up with the inventory system. I can't really comment on the other game as I don't have an XBOX One but having owned a PS3 and 360 last gen I think that Killzone is easily on par with Halo in both terms of single and multiplayer, I think the series is really underrated. Killzone Shadowfall looks fantastic and the multiplayer is really good, well balanced and some really good maps.
I think he's got a bit too caught up in the inventory re-write when really it wasn't all that bad in ARMA2/DayZ mod. Looks like the author has been overawed by the hype. I've played the PC beta and I've gad the game on pre-order since it was first made available I think it's pretty decent but falls a long way short of the hype surrounding it. Only having 6vs6 and AI grunts online was a real disappointment. Your avatar moves with very little feeling of weight wether you're in your mech or on foot. EA must be kicking themselves that they tied themselves into an exclusive for this given the PS4...
