MK9 was basically a reboot story wise. Sub zero dies in the original story as well. If this is the new Sub zero, I like him better then the no mask, scarface Sub zero that replaced him in MK3.

All the studios you just named are EURO studios except Bend. Sony should save those for Gamescon. If you were expecting all those announcements, you were way too overhyped. Expect 2-3 unannounced AAA games, then the rest we know. You expecting every studio to showcase something is absurd. The show is only 90 minutes.

Couldnt hurt. It would actually create symmetry within the MGS universe. Casuals could watch/play one and transition to the other more easily.
I enjoyed the first MK movie and the first Silent Hill. Outside of those its a crap shoot. From what I've read Kojima will be heavily involved, just like Neil with TLOU movie. So, if those movies bomb, its a worse blow then normal. If the game directors cant transition their own material to the silver screen, maybe it can never be successfully done.
