Yeah, I'm kinda in the same boat, only the euro address I made was completely garbage. It got me the euro account, and I've gotten a few things off of it, but I don't think it'll work for this.
I thought this was a fun little story, that gave people an option to try something new, but it seems to me that the only people doing it are me and my family :D Oh well, it's fun for us!

Yeah, you're right. And there are also a lot of wannabe drummers out there who would like to have it as well. Plus all of the people from the first Rock Band who thought the drums were awesome, but wanted just a little bit more. HMX and Ion saw that market, and that's why these are here.
Do you realize what you would get with that set? First off, a piece of junk set. Secondly, no cymbals - that's right, cymbals are extra, and expensive.
And the point that I feel like I've said too many times (but I'll say it again, since it's the last time I can post in this comment section) is that it's a game controller that can be used out of the game if you want it to. It's a good thing, and it gives people another option. Rock Band FTW!

Now, to jm, the point in these is that they are convertible. If you want to play a game, cool you can do that with these. If you want to play the drums but not the game, cool, you can do that with these as well. The point is that you're not stuck with only a game controller. It might be lower end stuff than what a professional would pick up, but for someone...
I have 2 of the 3 as well, only I passed on Motorstorm. I loved the demo, but didn't have the cash to pick it up at the time, and then just didn't pick it up. I'll probably get part 2 before I would get this one, though, so I guess I'll just only have the 2.

The high hat is there, or wherever you want it, it's an adjustable system, just like any other electric kit. And I wish people would stop saying it's just a game controller, with an electric drum brain, it can become an electric kit without the game. Here, check out the vid:

I was going to say this article must be old, but then I looked and it said it was published tomorrow. So my conclusion is they just must be misinformed. They adequately described the announced features in GHWT, but stated that RB2 hadn't really said much about their upcoming game. Where the heck have they been? It's definitely flooding this site, and you would think that someone who apparently believes that RB is currently leading the rhythm game market would read up a bit before posting ...
This is why you hate Rock Band? That makes perfect sense. You have 4 options for drum controllers, and one of them can be turned into an actual electric drum set, and that doesn't make sense? Whatever, once you play Rock Band, you'll understand.
Yeah, that's kinda the point. You're not only buying the most realistic game controller, but you have the option to turn it into an actual electric kit. I don't understand why so many people are having such an issue figuring this stuff out.
So what you're saying is that you've never played this type of game, or you did and sucked, so it doesn't work for you. My suggestion is go play it, and you'll understand why people would want this.
But there wasn't any new information. All that's there is GLaDOS telling us that it's coming, and we already knew that from all the other posts that said it. That's all I was saying.
