I really like Halo's melee system. It's extremely fluid and easy to both achieve and counter given the appropriate skill. The only problem I have with it is that I have a hard time believing a whack from the stock will kill someone fully armored, but that isn't any real issue, just a slight annoyance lol.
Well said, I agree. You give some great points but since peripheral vision in a video game is impossible at this point, there does need to be exceptions and precautions. In a realistic setting in a video game, there should never be one-hit kills from a knife with this exception being from behind. Battlefield 3 does a great job at this since it takes 4 knife hits to kill someone unless you do it from an angle that is outside of the view of the other player (Back and sides). And even then, duri...
M.A.G. and Battlefield 3 do a perfect job at it in my opinion.
