That joke went right over Spinal's head.
"Its his money he can do as he pleases."
That doesn't mean stupid people should be allowed to buy things.
@Septic, why would you even need confirmation of the downgrade? Just look at footage from E3 compared to footage now. The difference is huge. That's all the confirmation you should need.
This is why I love when FOX news or other similar outlets get all butt hurt about how video games are bad for us.
It brings us all together by giving us a common enemy.
@SonyWarrior, coming from someone with your name, a comment like that isn't surprising... However, that was still f***ing hilarious. I think even Xbox guys won't be able to deny that.
@ruegrak, indeed that is the case. And as we should all know, A single (Albeit powerful) computer can run tons of virtual servers on its own.
When we take that into consideration, that 300k servers doesn't sound quite as impressive.
Is anyone else bothered by the fact that this MS rep tried to deny the DRM policies and no game sharing when the Xbox One was announced? I mean seriously? He ACTUALLY tried to say that it was a "communication error". OTHER MS Reps have ADMITTED what MS was trying to do, and practically apologized, clearing the entire thing.
Sorry, but this guy is an absolute fool, and definitely should not be working for MS. He continues to prove how horrible MS is with PR.
Jokes, thank you for proving that even biased people can be intelligent and level headed. I don't always agree with you (Hell, I almost never agree with you), but you're always at least very calm and well mannered with your comments, and it's good to see that you can admit to things like this.
I too am disappointed that Ryse isn't turning out so well. I really did want to play it. I'm still going to eventually, but I was hoping it was going to be the game ...
@camel, Oh, you've seen nothing. That guy became a meme the moment he appeared on TV. He's like a crazy, alien loving Rob Schneider.
It doesn't matter anyways because you can't just buy GDDR5 RAM. So that alone is why this setup doesn't work. But that's just one reason. The comment section of this article does a great job at pretty much dismantling everything the article says. PC elitists might be a dickish bunch, but they know their ways around technology.
Given the small amount of problems versus the sheer amount of PS4's out there, at the risk of sounding a bit cruel, I think it's a pretty great start. This is the PS4's first week of life and hardly anyone's having issues.
I feel for those that are, but the overall scheme of things seems fairly positive. The responsible thing for people with these issues to do, is to sort it with Sony's customer support. Not rant about it on forums, etc.
...
Granted, user reviews tend to be much more forgiving. Even crappy games will get very high reviews from people who spend their money on it. They feel that they need to make it seem like it was worth it.
Don't get me wrong though, I'm not at all speaking for Ryse in this case. I've always said that it's the one game that I actually would love to play on the Xb1. I'm sure it will be great. Just don't take user reviews quite as seriously. Hell, don't ...
If the PS4 had an absolute zero percent failure rate, there would still be people complaining about how theirs bricked on them. (Even though these particular people wouldn't have owned one in the first place)
People on the opposing side are always looking to make things seem worse for their competition.
I fully believe that the same scenario will play out when the Xb1 releases.
This is the kind of s**t that makes us gamers look bad.
How about some Ocarina of Time? That game had 3D fish! Plus you could actually go fishing! And steal that guy's hat!
That game had it all.
Coming from the guy who calls himself Quagmire lol.
Sarcasm is great and all, but trying too hard at it just looks weak.
Realistically, a 2 door taxi cab is super inconvenient. I get it, it's a nice car, but even so, what's the point if you're still only going 5 miles per hour in traffic?
After seeing this with my own eyes, I seriously don't believe anyone in their right mind could possibly say that this game isn't the absolute BEST looking game so far for next gen.
@seed, Lol, if you're going to try to fix my spelling, make sure YOU have it right.
Guess what, it is in fact spelled, "Realize" not "Realise".
Do you really think anyone is stupid enough to risk jail time just to prove an immature, unimportant fanboyish point?
The fact that you would merely suggest that seems to imply that you wish that were the case so you could believe it's not Microsoft's fault.
