The game gets a lot of hate, and I get why, but it's still a very solid game at the same time.

You used "subsidy" wrong in there (Sorry, I'm only complaining about that since it would have just been much simpler for you to have just said "Subscription"), and number 1 kind of lives together with number 3 (Every MMO I've ever played offers any sort of DLC to subscribers free of charge, mostly anyways).
But other than that, I definitely agree. ESO should not be on this list for example.

Crytek do a decent enough job at demonstrating why that's incredibly difficult to achieve.
The reason they're called "script kiddies", is because they don't actually have any real skill with "hacking". They use software that locates IP's and takes them off for them, without them having to do any real work.
Saying that their "skills" could be put to better use is incredibly generous.
The ONLY issue I ever had with this game, was a tiny glitch where Ellie's hair spazzed out a little bit during one of the cutscenes (and it lasted less than a second; the only reason it was even noteworthy was because it stretched passed the screen briefly), and while that did momentarily take me out of the immersion of the game, it didn't ruin anything for me, nor did it make me think any less of the game.

I remember playing Ghost's campaign starting at 8pm, and finishing it around 11-11:30pm.
That's a single 4 hour sitting. If the game took you 9 hours to beat, I don't even want to know how long it takes you to finish simple, everyday tasks.
The Band was "The Wave", but the guys that where being total morons, were "The Loiter Squad". They're from a s***ty TV show that nobody watches. The show airs on Adult Swim at like 2 am. when they have nothing better to show.
WHY VGX would invite those guys is BEYOND me.
Not to mention the dynamic weather effects or the beautifully sophisticated destruction. This game is going to top everything Next Gen has to offer for a good while.
They admitted to having not planned the Timeline beforehand, but it still works. It just goes to show that the developers are awesome enough to allow the fans of the series put two and two together and make it canon.
I think that we can all agree that, while the Wii U is a great console, this author was just trying too hard.

The Wii U is named so because it's meant to imply "We" and "You", plus the "U" as an initial for "Upgraded", as in "Wii Upgraded".
