Not to mention that it's free and plays from your browser so that gives it really easy access to anyone who wants to try it. I find it really hard to believe you've never heard of it. It may not be the MOST popular online mmo, but it's definitely WAY up there. I actually played it a lot when I was younger. It's incredibly deep with nearly unlimited things to do.
I know first hand from that.. People just dont appreciate good ol' sarcasm these days.
The only kind of person who would say something like that^ is someone who's never played Borderlands.
Haha no kidding. For me, it's the idea of being suspended and swung around in the air after the fall, not the fall itself. But regardless, I'm much happier to spend my money on the game in support rather than get a free copy, that's just me though lol.
Either way, I've completely lost any respect I had for the WSJ. If they are going to hire immature, unprofessional people like this to write reviews, they aren't even worth anyone's time.
I can't even believe you're comparing Borderlands with Stalker. Let alone any of those games at all.
Soooooo agreed. Jack is by far the funniest, most awesome badass that I love and hate at the same time. It's actually pretty insane how much of a well developed character he becomes as you play. He's so funny, yet so cruel and maniacal. He really is the best villain in a video game that I've seen in a long time.
Another zombie tower defense game, eh?
I don't know who would be able to honestly disagree with you. The Infamous games are a perfect example of a Super Hero game done right.
I'm guessing the reviewer only played the game for about an hour.
Well the reviewer gave it a respectable 4/5 so I really doubt he had a problem with the rating itself.
I agree that the review is a little pointless at this time, but he could have made his comment much less offensive about it.
You just answered your own question. They think XBL is the go-to service so they have zero problem with charging as much as they want for it because they think their fans believe the same. The worse part is, some actually do.
Kids these days with their over the top, offensive and controversial slang. Whatcha gunna do.
I'm glad I'm not the only one. I wasted over 200k on useless junk on those slot machines before I finally got a sniper rifle thay does 3,343 damage from the three marcus heads lol. Even better, it's fire rate is 2.4 so I can fire it in quick succession. I'm on my second playthrough with Zero, and I can't wait to waste yet even more of my precious monies in hopes to get another amazing gun lol.
I've actually found three guns that talk lol.. A shotgun with a manly robot voice, an obnoxious submachine gun, and a whiny emo sniper rifle.
The shotgun doesn't really say anything that funny but it says something for every action you do with it.
The SMG makes random noises like, "Ratatatata" when I shoot, or says, " REEEEEEELOADING!" when I reload lol.
The Sniper Rifle complains at me everytime I reload, sa...
So, I downloaded a simple little mobile game... I played it a bit, but my character ran out of energy so I couldn't continue playing it unless I drank an energy potion. Let's see the price range of the Energy Potion bundles:
1 Energy Potion: $1
5 Energy Potions: $5
20 Energy Potions: $18
50 Energy Potions: $45
120 Energy Potions: $100
Seriously? Gunna charge *One Hundred* dollars for you to continue playing a sh...
Ugh... Double post*
What's with all the web-glitching lately N4G? I've noticed a ton of people having problems with double posts recently..
Kevin Butler is the greatest magician/illusionist ever. Nuff said.
I think jslash is underestimating people's love for Cloud lol.
But no, he is right, 2-5mil extra sales for one single character is a bit much. There would still definitely be a huge leap on sales from fans though.
Sh*t, I totally did not mean to give you a disagree. I completely agree with you. Rovio has to be one of the most greedy developers I have seen in a long time, and that's saying a lot considering this day and age.
