@CyberCam, call me easily impressed, but I still think Battlefield 3's graphics and sound are unbelievably beautiful.

@Omegasyde, you don't seem to know what you're talking about. Battlefield 3 was capped at 30fps on CONSOLES. This gameplay video however, is clearly being played on PC (on screen key prompts). The game is NOT capped at 30fps. Plus, didn't DICE themselves say that the game would run 720p, 60fps on next gen consoles? Yeah, try again...

@Zha, the thing is, if it plays anything like Battlefield 3, and it will, then we don't have to worry at all about it being generic. It will be awesome. You want generic, play CoD; doesn't get more generic than that.

Who said anything about spontaneously combusting? "killing" is clearly a metaphor for beating it either quality or sales wise. We all know CoD won't stand a chance quality wise.
The Listening mode feature is completely optional. As for the people who say it will be amazing... Well, just look at Naughty Dog's track record. Hard to argue with that.
@OhReginald and shutUpAndTakeMyMoney, I didn't exactly mean it that way. Like C_Menz said, it's "pay to skip the grind". And I personally don't like this gameplay design because unless it's an RPG, I hate grinding. I know not everyone is the same way, but even so, it's still my opinion.

I really want to disagree simply because I do not believe that the N64 is the best console, certainly up there, but not the best of all time... But I cannot deny the serious nostalgia I feel for every single one of those games you listed. I kind of have a love/hate relationship with Nintendo. Dunno what it is.
