My thoughts exactly. The Vita is still very much alive in Japan so there's every chance it'll be a firm Vita release :)

This article is about Nintendo whose quality control is not the best, especially as they tend to use tried and tested and low power technology. The last time I experienced a stuck pixel was on a Clam Shell DS.

I seem to remember the 80's video games crash, caused by the over saturation of shit games, quantity or quality.

Just saying!

R:FOM had a great story and MP allowed for mental customised games with great maps. R2 was the weakest SP by far but MP was decent, but the cherry on the top was the Eight (8) player Super Human Co-op which was fantastic fun. R3 had a very good SP and MP was also very well fleshed out. The 2 player Brutality co-op mode though could of been awesome if it had of been developed into four player+ and over several maps and with more variety in that death metal music.

I was gutte...

100% agree, R:FOM was a remarkable achievement considering how up against it Insomniac were at the time trying to complete it for PS3's launch.

>>microsoft dont like to imprison great talent

You are joking, right? Microsoft all but destroyed RARE or at least, their freedom by making them churn out that Kinect sports bollox.
The fact that MS are going to celebrate RARE's 30th anniversary is purely for publicity reasons, you know, the smiling face of the wolf etc.

Agreed, R:FOM and R3 were both excellent and although they lost their way a little with R2 and the COD based two weapons rubbish, at least it had awesome Online and 8 player Super Human Co-op mode. In fact, the online side of the Resistance series have been brilliant especially the fully customisable load outs in R:FOM.

If there was to be a Resistance 4, I would weep with joy.

Performance is dreadful in some aspects on PS4. It's a nice looking game but you can see it's running below full HD so it's not that good looking in my eyes.

I'm the same, I still find destiny a great game. Saying that, I will be playing FC4 as soon as it drops on the door mat. Destiny will be played for the daily strikes and one or two public events..... plus the DLC when it drops of course!

Why are they comparing a cut scene?

btw, Digital Foundary analysis of the PS4 version is up

1080p/30 smooth as silk on PS4. there goes your theory about XB1 version having better frame rate then, LOL!

I do remember Red Dead Redemption having some hilarious glitches like this

What I want to know is this. Is the frame rate smooth on PS4 or slightly stuttery like the XB1 version occasionally was at EGX this year. I'm not slagging off the XB1 version but it was noticable and slightly off putting.

Anyway, that's my question.

Let us also not forget the strangely weird NIER from Squeenix

I played four out of the five, blur being the one I didnt play.

Singularity, the saboteur and Vanquish were all brilliant, special Ops the Line brings up the rear.

I am so looking forward to this one. Dead Island clicked with me even if it was flawed and a bit broken (on PS3 at least). Saying that, I can't wait for 8 player co-op in Dead Island 2 either.

'XO still the by far winner'

Ah, what marvellous use of the English language! Well done.

PS4 has the full fat 1080p, maintains 60fps really well and no screen tear. XB1 version does it's best with what it has to work with but here is a game that shows the performance difference between the two consoles.

In no way is Destiny a crap game. It's the one game I return to again and again and really enjoy.

DLNA is what I'm waiting for on my PS4. my home network has everything on it so clearly I want to access it via PS4.

Saw it on XB1 running at EGX and the frame rate was a bit rubbish in places as was the slightly ropey 'crowd' animation (a bit robot!) and hilarious NPC clipping solid objects bugs. Clearly the code wasn't the finished article or at least, I hope it wasn't.

Apart from all that, It could well be a brilliant game I just hope the PS4 version is able to stretch it's muscles and smooth things out a little.
