Yeah for me it peaked with 4, everything I loved about metal gear solid was all combined perfectly in 4......5 seems like a good spin off.
Yeah lol, I wouldn't say its their fault but I will say I miss the heavy emphasis on convoluted SciFi story and such.......it just doesn't scream scream metal gear to me.
I've been getting tired of open world games as of late, they all just bore me but this game has me incredibly interested, especially after that e3 demo.

You want another Mario clone, just go back and play classic Mario, if you hate si fi, shooting, robots, collectables and such. Also if you think hard, old school mario games have a lot of these elemts too.

Skyward sword was par at best, it had a great story and some unique dungeon designs (ancient gistern was awesome) but the slice horizontal/diagonal/slant style of combat got hella repetitive. Not to mention I felt like the game world suffered due to these decisions. There wasn't much exploration to enjoy and the world was mad small, plus you couldn't even explore the world at night, only skyloft. Still gharahim was an amazing antagonist.

Wouldn't it be kinda cool if this got game of the year, I know its wishful thinking with mgs 5, bloodborne, witcher 3 and fallout 4 also the simple fact that its a racing Sim breaks any chance if a goty award but it would still be cool.
Exactly eggs, it costs a bit but the good games are starting to churn out, forza 6, bloodborne and until dawn are all cleaning up reviews and this will most likely be the norm going into next year.
Halo 5, tombraider, persona 5 and the like will close out the year exclusives nicely and street fighter, uncharted, quantum break, horizon, record, scalebound and the last guardian to name a few will offer an amazing 2016.

Damn this game cleaning up, I wanted to wait for GT7 to cop a new Sim but this just can't wait, my itch is getting to me and for some reason I'm not feeling project cars.
Oh man turn 10 hopefully this game sells well, people been sleep in on the racing Sim genre as of late.
Amen no doubt, bloodborne, the ditcher 3, MGS V and until dawn are 4 great games this year that didn't really put an emphasis on multiplayer.
It shows that single player games are still very desirable. Soon fallout 4 and persona 5 will prove this again.
Even tomv raider dropped its crappy tacked on .ultiplayer in the reboot sequal.
Plus its slightly harder for devs to screw us with micro transactions and doc with a single player only game...
