I assume it's because they signed a contractual agreement with Sony before MS bought Bethesda
Always seem to see at least one of these type of comments on n4g everyday about a PS exclusive. Like, are you all really that starved for games to play?
Or hell even a PS5 lol? At this point I'm just hoping to get one before I have great grandchildren
If these companies made their analog sticks easily replaceable, wouldn't that resolve the stick drift issue to an extent? Would also mean that they would probably sell less controllers, but at least they would be making a pro consumer move imo.
PS5 version was never dynamic. It was a locked 1440p. Series X resolution however is the one that's dynamic (dynamic 1800p) and so is Series S. Which is interesting because the PS4 Pro resolution was not dynamic also, but the One X version is which makes me think they just took the code from the last gen versions and just implemented a few upgrades.
Think it kinda proves the cross gen sales narrative false. Even tho they are getting some PS4 sales, most ppl would rather wait until they get a PS5 to play the best version
Loved Quantum Break. Off topic, but I remember thinking that Control was going to be somewhat of a sequel to Quantum Break because I believe the actress that played Jesse in Control played Beth in Quantum Break also
And no data caps
I was hoping that would have been the case for Horizon ZD and Death Stranding but...
Never played it myself yet but I've heard great things about it. Just started playing Bloodborne (my 1st Soulsborne game) and I've been loving it so far. Can't wait to try Sekiro
I get what you're trying to say, but technically the PS5 version "performs" better because it doesn't drop below 60 fps like the Series X version does. The Series X version is just sharper because of it's higher resolution
So basically Hitman 3 on current gen:
Xbox SS is running a boosted version of the Xbox One S
Xbox SX is running a boosted version of the Xbox One X
PS5 is running a boosted version of the PS4 Pro
Well yea duh. That's usually how things work, but it's not that straighforward when it comes to designing a game for the PS5. Have you watched Cerny's Road to PS5 presentation? Linus's apology video to Sweeney? I'll assume you didn't, but going back to what I was basically saying tho, why keep making these comparisons when they both are completely different from one another? Was going to make a long post, but I'll just sum it up by saying that the PS5, with it'...
So does this mean that games for pc will be designed to utilize those speeds and I/O tech like how the PS5's SSD is designed to? Don't understand why ppl keep making these comparisons.
I still find it funny how he tried to call out Tim Sweeny for supposedly schilling for the PS5's ssd speed and I/O throughout (because you know, nothing about console can be better than pc) but then had to make an apology video to Sweeny because he realized that he wasn't lying about PS5's tech
Or a pc fanboy begging for pc ports
Was Code Veronica not good enough commercially for a remake? Was one of the first games that I had on Dreamcast and loved it. I remember being amazed by the graphics at the time coming from RE3 Nemesis. I'm anxious to see what they do with a RE4 Remake, but I thought CV would have been shown some love with a remake beforehand.
Will forever love singleplayer games! EA had an agenda they were trying to push it seems not realizing that it's the consumer that decides, at the end of the day, what is dead with their money. Same goes for these corporations trying to push game streaming.
There's a Chinese Xbox One knockoff console that looks kinda similar to this called The X Game. It uses knockoff Dualshock controllers also lol
True, but you still have some ppl out there thinking that it was cgi
