Dont forget that the XBOX 360 is extremely locked down by Microsoft. Developers that want to offer free content to 360 users are forced to charge for it because of Microsoft.
I think you should sit down and think about the things you already have instead of complaining about what you dont. PSN is free how can you complain? You say that Sony hasn't brought out enough updates that provide a "wow" factor, but you fail to realize that PS3 already does so much....WTF?
When I think of games like Resistance 1, Lair, Perfect Dark Zero, Call of Duty 3, Motorstorm 1, Gears of War 1 and then think about Gears of War 2, God of War 3, FF13, Mass Effect 2, GTA 4, etc, I think that video games have continually progressed over the years for not just one platform, but for all platforms (some more than others). The way video games are made has drastically changed over the past few generations of consoles. Video game budgets are starting to rival those of big time holly...

I think Microsoft is waiting on Kinect to see if it does well or not. I think that is the determining factor of "when".
I personally think Microsoft should back out of the console race and continue to market XBOX Live. Like an alternative to Steam or OnLive. XBOX Live is what Microsoft has going for it. Maybe even lice...

I hope Nintendo makes it look less like the current DS models. I also wish the would narrow the gap between the top and bottom screen and make them the same size. I think they might considering the fact that (IN THE SCREENSHOTS I SAW) the 3DS demos were only using the top screen to show off the 3D effect. No demos i saw used the bottom. Just a thought.

Thats true.......but still its a generous idea. I could see Microsft doing it but they would probably limit it to avatar items. I could see Sony doing it since they have their own movie studio. We gamers need something in return for spending alot of our hard earned money in this resession.
wouldnt it be cool to be able to spend your gamerscore on marketplace items? You pay $60 for a video game and get nothing back. Wouldnt be cool to have a points system where if you buy 3 games you can rent a movie free. These high prices on these video games are unforgiving on the wallet. It would be nice to get something in return for buying these games....you heard it form me 1st.
U have a point but the fact remains that the cell cpu is what keeps the PS3 on its toes and ahead of XBOX 360. The fact that it can be utilized for diff functions is what makes the possibilities bigger on PS3.
Ex. God of War 3 is using the CEll CPU for AA.
THis leaves RSX to do other stuff which makes up for a less powerful GPU than that in the XBOX. Utilization is key with PS3.
IDK Y....most FF fans are on PS3...PS3 has a more defined/mature selections of gamers...those 10 year old "kids" on XBOX dont care about FF........PS3 is a "mature" console.
Wii=toddlers/soccer moms
XBOX 360=kids/early teens
PS3=mature teens/adults
This is also another prime example of complaining humans...we are sooo ungreatful to the point where its not even funny. The games not even out and people are already complaining about the framerate drop as if they have experienced it for themselves.
Its like someone critizing a movies before it comes out....like WTF.
As long as it runs smoothly...nothing in this world is perfect and there is always something to improve on. I could complain that the game doesnt run at 1080p resolution or have some type of online or co-op. Regardless Santa Monica did an excellent job.
With a year between its not surprising that they made adjustments...glad to know cell is being utilized. This is what makes PS3 standout from XBOX is that the Cell can be used for graphics functions such as physics, AA, textures, etc. Keep the exclusives coming.

The Ps3 will advance more than the XBOX 360 or Wii in more areas. What else can the XBOX 360 or Wii do? Not to be fanboy but the PS3 has more growing room.
