I thought I played this already on the NES, and Game Boy Advance, but OK I'll have another go at it on the PSP. Each time I play it, the game gets upgraded in the graphics department. Whats next? FFII on the PS3?

I think the most important factors are the exclusive content and the price. HD-DVD is cheaper but lacks support from some major motion picture companies. Bluray has the support, but has a higher price range. To be honest, depending on which part of the States you live in, the cost of each player might matter less. Here in NYC, a lot of people just seem to think an item that costs more is better, so I see more people purchase bluray players. If I go to Alabama, I see more people buy $5 VHS pla...

That is awesome. Maybe one day we will finally get a movie tie in game that is not a let down. They should have a company devoted to movie based games. I am getting sick of a lot of these poorly rushed movie games. Hopefully Warner Bros has the right team to take care of the poorly made movie tie ins!

I think the Paper Mario idea would be interesting. They did a 2-D Mr. Game & Watch, so I don't see why not. The Sonic thing I could see possible too, considering Sega and Nintendo have shook hands for once.

I would hope the new game consoles are future friendly considering how fast technology innovates these days. It seems like you hear about a new 'chip' of some sort every month now. To be honest, PC gaming seems to be the most future safe console choice. I could be wrong though, considering the PS2 is still selling like hot cakes. By the way, how are hot cakes selling these days anyway?
I've had Guitar Hero II since November 2006. I don't see that as any rush what so ever. Considering I have been playing the game close to a year. People kept asking me if I have ever played Guitar Hero when it came out on the Xbox360. I've been playing it since 2005. Where have you been? This is not a new game people.

I understand what you are saying but the install base of the PS3 is still low and a lot of people do not even own one yet. The devlopers are still in the early stages of the console, and new PS3 updates are breathing strong life into the console. I agree that it needs to pick up the pace, but the PS2 is still alive and kicking. I would welcome Nintendos new console with open arms, but to be honest, the only *new* console I see around the corner could be an upgraded 360.
