I feel the same way about the Sony and Nintendo conferences. I for one am looking forward to all of E3 and truly hope that fans of all platforms have something revealed that blows their respective minds.
never throw out my controller, but I certainly look forward to all the potential augmentations to my controller experience that natal may create. I also am looking forward to what kind of games, interactions , and possible experiences that natal could conceivably foster.
being a disabled gamer I think anything that help my fellow sapient creatures enjoy the pleasure that is videogameing is a great thing!!
I play games for the same reason I read books, and that is for complete escapism and for the journey. I know for me personally video games have been a part of my life for 35 years and in that time games helped bring me out of some dark and miserable places; and helped me cope with PTSD much better than any drug ever prescribed to me was ever able to achieve. I could very easily be prescribed body and mind numbing drugs, and if I didn't have video games to help take my mind away from my b...
i think its is going to be so much fun interacting wiith and watching my kids interact with natal.
SHEESH,, this article is about something that never freaking existed and should never have been approved.
a 1200 point option in the USA either.
this old news

When did Microsoft ever have a 1200 point option? The old point scheme had you buying points in increments of 500, 1000, 2000, 4000 points but Ms changed that a month or two ago. Now its 400, 800, 1600, and 4000.
you told wouldn't you be violating a NDA? :-)
when the original HL released I was a 28 year old gamer, and up until that time no other game I had ever played had such a compelling narrative blended with enough hair-raising moments to keep me thoroughly engrossed from beginning to end. What started with an innocuous seeming tram ride into Black Mesa, ended with an Everyman (albeit an educated one) traveling to his invaders home world and facing off against the Nihilanth, only to have a lady and the tiger kind of ending, with the ubiquitou...
completed Crackdown 1 three days ago, I am not ashamed to admit I can't wait to play C2.
Brink and Rage are definitely on my list, and can't wait to learn more abour FNV.
as to what constitutes a hardcore gamer? There seems like there could be so many permutations of hardcore gamer, that I believe quantifying it down to one all encompassing definition would be daunting and unlikely to ever reach a consensus amongst the gaming populace (kudos to us if we ever achieve it).
I bought my 360 because of GRAW 2 and Halo 3 and to a lesser but still important degree the controller. I played FPS's on the PC from Doom to Outlaws by Lucas Arts to HaloCE to ...
Crackdown horrible, looked horrible? I am not going to tell you that you are incorrect, but from my perspective Crackdown has a uinique cel-shaded look and is tons of fun to play. I just have to disagree with you on the potential of natal especially when coupled with a standard controller seems rife with potential to me. Not to mention that as a father I can't wait to see what a kids imagination can do with Natal (I fear all the avatar Sex video's to come on youtube) Also, the 360 ha...
you posted something on N4G about the the 360 so automatically you are a 360 fanboy..crazy huh?
The entire interview on TF is great and worth the read.
In the same way I was happy for PS3 owners when I read Bungie was going multiplatform; I am as equally happy for me and my fellow 360 owners that Insomniac is going multiplatform.
I must say that was a serious information blow-out; and I am even more excited for Gears 3 than I was before all that delicious info.
father of 4 son's ages 9, 10, 16, 19; I have a pretty simple methodology for what I allow my kids to play. ( I am referring to my 9 and 10 year old). I stay informed through websites such as N4G, whenever possible I play the gamess, and ask if it were a movie would I let them watch it? Games with possible sexual ramifications are immediately added to the no play list as well as horror. I believe children should be allowed to remain children until they have to grow up; therefore, I am not ...
HD Televisions hit the market as early as 1998.
