Gamerevolution is usually the best place to get a review. That being said, I'm surprised they gave it a B+. Watching the videos makes the game seem relatively boring. Maybe I'll rent it in the future and see how good it is.
Also, who makes respawn ranked in SOCOM? It looks like the biggest mess. SOCOM is about tactics, this is just a run and gun mess. I'm in the PS+ beta, but I'm not liking it that Zipper is trying to compete with COD.
Final point, where is the recoil?
They're not fixing the camera, they don't even have a party system in the game yet, that's what they're working on.
This is game is just not what we asked for on socom.com and everyone keeps telling zipper. the camera should be as far back as it is in spectator mode.
there's no dot in the crosshairs. there's no gun hot. there's no free lean. and there's cover.
not socom. this is mag in 3rd person.

Wasn't SUCH a disappointment. I had fun with the online. The audio component was extremely well done and so were the guns. The campaign was short but I was happy with the purchase. 7/10 sounds about right.

They do have it, but Sony implements things with care. I would trust Sony's 1st party implementations over any 3rd party.

Perfectly true. As a kid I found fun games to be great, and never bothered with the story. After playing Uncharted I kind of spoiled myself and love games with great campaigns.
