It's sad because I like Playstation and won't buy another console, but first party games have been awful. I miss the PS3 era.

Sony has been very lazy with 1st party games compared to the PS4 era. And even the PS4 era was nothing compared to the PS3 era in terms of games.
They weren't told how to think on this topic so it let them use their brains without being told what to think about a topic. They ended up being reasonable and rational.
Maybe they'll be able to keep Playstation console prices stable as a result. One can dream.

SOCOM would be great indeed. No big maps. 8v8 max. Confrontation showed that 16v16 is not good.

Yeah but this gen has sucked for Playstation exclusives that weren't remasters.
The PS3 had so many great exclusives. Socom Confrontation, Killzone, MAG, Twisted Metal, Motorstorm, Warhawk, Infamous, Resistance, Playstation Allstars, Lair, Heavenly Sword, Little Big Planet, Metal Gear Solid 4, Ratchet and Clank.
There are way more that I'm forgetting. And some of these games even had multiple iterations release during the console cycle. This gener...
This generation is great for hardware and terrible for software. The games suck.
