People like to roll out those "exclusive title lists" all the time, but there is one thing that can be determined without a list. The games that people actually bought the PS3 for are coming out this year. I'm sorry but I don't think anyone is going "Yes! Alan Wake! This is why I bought a 360!"

Not quite, this would be the turning point even without BluRay's victory. HD-DVD falling is just a bonus. This is the year all of Sony's big guns fire. MGS4, FFXIII, KZ2, you know, the reasons people bought the system. No offense to 360's lineup, but if you tell me that "(360 game coming out this year) is the reason I bought a 360!" There is a good chance you are lying.

It's not just video games. It is the culture here in America. Violence is no big deal, but sex is taboo. Video games are more affected by this. But the same thing applies for television too.
