Sorry is Xbox Live free?
If you have had issues with PSN it's your crappy connection because apart from the hacking issue that happened PSN has worked fine for me for all these years
The one reason to own a 360 has just appeared
No I say that as a means of physical retailers existing when Digital Distribution takes over completely
I think if they came up with a new digital download model retail could stick around.
Something like:
Go in store, buy the game, downloads in store with their Fibre connection in a second, you take the USB stick home, plug it in console and it installs. Something like that could work but it is dependant on game sizes getting much bigger and quicker than home broadband speeds getting faster
I wouldn't be bothered about Always-On if I hadn't played SimCity...
Possibly, like muzzle flash from firing a gun or as in the video I think a flamethrower was used and it went outside the TV's FoV but then in the multiplayer FPS game they show, whatever that was, it was the an extension of the FoV.
I'm guessing that will be a major selling point, "Get ahead of the competition, see them before they see you" Could work for the hardcore FPS players I guess
I don't get how you can disagree with the above...
People with illumiroom will see you at the side when you won't be able to see them at all, that's not an opinion it's a fact
I'm noticing that with Illumiroom you get a bigger Field of View.
So in Multiplayer, people without Illumiroom will be at a disadvantage
I love how everyone commenting on that article (not here) are saying N4G is full of Sony Fanboys, I always thought it was the other way round :p
Not sure if this is an English website but half of it doesn't make sense.
"But on the contrary, instead of fixing the bug but actually reproduce the bug."
"Based on reports from the EA forums, some very annoying bug is that the water disposal system is always full, the taxi suddenly beat urban population,"
And to the below, yes they did, that's why they have a Public Test server...
"The question is, if...
Nice and graphic :).
Could be a 'Thrill Kill' beat 'em up instead :p
Spoilt kid :p
I still don't get why people pay to play online.
Judging by people's comments of owning the same console multiple times (waste of money btw) "total install base reach 77.2 million across the world" install base is actually probably around 50million.
Suppose the same goes for the PS3 but depends on how many own multiple PS3s, I only own 1 of the originals
I haven't read the whole thing but from what I understand.
If you got Borderlands 1 as part of the PlaystationPlus freebie and then bought the Borderlands 1 & 2 bundle you just delete the Borderlands 1 freebie and download the one you bought.
Everything you buy in PSStore (including PSPlus freebies) can be downloaded multiple times so if you stopped paying for PSPlus, delete the Game Data (this isn't Game Saves) and then delete the games and download Borderlands 1 ...
Which part did I fail on? :(
The grammar and punctuation in that article were worse than the game...
There is a massive difference between Gb (gigabit) and GB (gigabyte) so make sure you use the correct case :-)
Commuting not working properly, freight not shipping to other cities properly, mass transit poorly programmed (there was a post from Maxis about this), water reserves not being replenished, utilities dropping on and off when being bought from another city, traffic always taking the shortest route even though they could go around all the traffic.
Some are down to bad game design but apparently a lot is just due to the server latency and stability issues so hopefully will be resolved af...
Obvious, repair the PS3 and play games on that
With DDR4 due out next year, they might as well have waited and gave Sony a year head start
