Same here.. I've had zero tolerance for almost everything except for games and this gen has done nothing but changing that so far.
I think it's time for me to take a break from all this. Gaming is suppose to be my zone away from home... Woosah

The first time I played Halo I saw Quake written all over it, and the first time I played cod I saw a arcade version of CS. Then we have games like Unreal Tournament, Doom etc.. That started this FPS trend.
What Halo showed a lot of us is that the genre would become popular on consoles and boy did Bungie had the right formula and great timing. Don't get me wrong, Halo is a great game but far from new.

Next gen isn't failing. We as a community are too quick to jump the gun, forget about what's coming and too quick to point fingers looking for someone to blame when something doesn't sit right. We have to speak up as a community but got damn it be constructive and not destructive.

It could be that I've been longing for a driver in my ps4 library but I can't stop playing. Minus the server issues and the option to coustomize vehicles to your liking, I'm having a blast and when I am connected it's even more fun.
Hopefully when everything is resolved and people get to play the ps+ version we can put aside the errors from Sony/Evolution's end cause this is a bloody solid Arcade racer and then some.
Relying on promotion and hype can only get you so far and in this case, backfire... bad. If it was a great game and not only ok, it would probably generate more buzz and sales via word of mouth but I don't hear anyone saying that it's a must buy (like TLOU for example). As for now, it's only a high budget mediocre game that didn't live up to the hype and I reckon gamers are getting sick and tired in general.

Canceled my preorder for The Crew and Unity. The crew after playing the closed beta and noticed that it was more frustrating than fun. Unity after watching gameplay and hearing the excuses to why they would do this.
This has nothing to do with Ubisoft but after playing the new EA UFC patch (a huge mma fan and muay thai practitioner) I have now zero tolerance and will most definitely vote with my wallet from now on and can call THAT next gen.

I think the masses (casuals) will prefer DC, the hardcore Project Cars and the... I don't know about the crew honestly. It seems fun on paper but it shouldn't be compared to DC or Project Cars after what I've seen from it..
