A supermarket machine relies on cash whereas an account for a console/online game store is linked to a credit card. Its easier for the credit card to be abused. Also for pokie machines you cant use a credit card either which makes loot boxes a bit dodge.

Looks cool...but rather than another metroidvania it would be cool to see this aesthetic applied to a linear type of action/adventure slight RPG game like Flashback and Another World.

Go back to just having 6 classes per team with no weapon customisation/upgrades. It makes it easier for devs to create a level playing field with the maps and classes. Not to mention being more enjoyable for end users due to making do with the tools you're given.
And yes I like COD3 MP that's why I'm saying this lol.
