It's the direction RE should've gone after the first one. Have a self contained story with a new "Resident evil"/horror element in a contained environment. Make it mysterious and suspenseful.
Swap OoT for Majoras Mask and Pokemon for Xenoblade Chronicles and you might be on to something with this list.

I'm not gonna say I disagree or agree with you but you can't rope into your argument games that haven't been released yet.
I would rather play new experiences, new ip's. If a game is truly great the original should hold up and be enjoyable as is today.
As much as I dont like it either lets get real here. If you have a PSP, a Vita or a PS3 and you havent already bought all the games you wanted for that system then thats on you.

Most of the patch notes was just script fixes for broken quest/missions. Performance was barely mentioned.

Odyssey I'll give a pass because you get AC3 as a bonus, but Immortals is $45 down from $59. That's almost a full game price.
