I think the Wii U will do fine. PS4 will continue to sell of hype but the price drop did it damage the XB1 or help it. The Wii U showed price is not a selling factor games are. If you had the money would you buy a Lambo because of the name mope it's what's under the hood.
It's funny no one thinks Nintendo has it in them to pull out some stops. But I think they'll be fine. The Way that Nintendo uses Mario Kart is they drop the Sports car karts Mercedes, BMW, Lexus and others. After that since people wine about everything give them Battle tracks to see if they continue to complain.
Now Come out and say Mario Kart is doing great and hit the fans with a does of F Zero HD.
I'm calling it this game shows up rebraded as F Zero.
You are omitting a few important facts.
The Wii U has a smaller install base.
Watchogs was on the market longer. Mariokart 8 4 days compared to 6
Also there is a bigger selection on the Wii u Games wise than on the PS4.
The two consoles finally got a game to play. If Watch dogs released on the WIi U at the same time can you imagine the sales.

It's funny every time Nintendo starts to get leverage we get 20 of these damn articles. Here's the truth of the situation, Sony pushed games back and Microsoft has no games announced. Nintendo on the other hand has games coming out that people want to play every two months if even that far. We don't know what there showing at E3 so I expect them to have games with concrete dates or within months.

I just did the math based off what the PS4 and Wii U sold in Japan and America. Oh yeah keep in mind VGC may be under or over tracking systems.
PS4 sold - 99,111
Wii U - 87,559
Difference of 11,552
Now lets see what Europe does and lets see if VGC inflated numbers.

1. No Mario kart 8 bundle.
2. 29th - 1st = 4 days
3. 19,000 new systems sold at a profit.
All these numbers mean is the Wii u sold well in other countries. remember 82% sells were bundles that means that 5% sold in japan and the other will be in Europe and NA. IMO that's a win.
@ Necro_559 The Wii U is about to widen the gap on the XBon. The PS4 caught and passed it the Xbone has nothing going they dropped there draws oops price and still don't have games and recently 76% of 360 owners said there not even buying the thing at the cheaper price.
