Some people keep insisting that streaming is the future yet everything seems to indicate that it won't be the primary or even ideal way to play video games. Given that video games are interactive and other mediums aren't it's clear to me why it hasn't happen despite other mediums such as music and TV being successful. Unless the infrastructure of how we receive internet data improves this will continue to be an issue for many people even if that is the future they want the ind...
This fool spends so much time and energy hating, dude what does Stadia failing on their promise have anything to do with PS Now? Whatever anyone with a brain knew they would fail given all the information that had been coming out about the service.
Anyone with half a brain saw this coming, the more details I heard about Stadia the more I felt it would fail. This doesn't surprised one bit we know the infrastructure isn't in place to deal with streaming games without issues.
Just curious how many games don't have quote & quote fetch quests these days? I feel people have an issue with the game not being what they expected it to be vs what Kojima intended it to be. Also what did people expect? Kojima games tend to be a bit weird so all this hoopla over it being boring or not fun is odd to me since his games have never been know for being mainstream. Even MGS as popular as it was had a lot of haters.
As long as people keep buying FIFA and Madden yearly they won't be in any trouble those are their cash cows. They just got super greedy and thought it was a good idea to build all of their games surrounding MT with the GaaS model.
This extra scrutiny only happens with exclusives, funny how all of Sony games are expected to go above and beyond the industry standard while others go decades without taking any kind of risks and yet are praised for their solid game play without any other factors being taken into consideration. Yes games should be fun, but the definition of fun is so nuance in video games that the criteria often changes to fit certain agendas specially when it comes to reviewing.
This guy is in every negative article hating on the game, we get it you don't like the game.
It's going to tank so hard but we knew this google has a ton of money but zero video game industry experience.
Nah I don't care about IGN or any other reviewer for that fact just pointing about how skewed and off balanced their reviews are. I care more about developer reputation and unfortunately EA published this game so excuse me for being skeptical.
IGN gives COD consistent high score which tells me all I need to know about their criteria. Yes there are many reviewers at IGN with different opinions but they also have editors that say yay or nay to said scores. So excuse me if I think IGN is garbage and have slowly lost their credibility they shouldn't be regarded as an industry standard of any kind.
So where are the same kind of criticisms for not revolutionizing the industry like certain games get, IGN is a joke i will wait to see more opinions given that it is an EA published game.
Didn't live up to who's hype? The people playing the game seem to be enjoying it, so haters like you can down play it all you want but the game is doing very well commercially. That's the only thing that matters because it proves to Sony to keep taking risks with their games. Nice try but you not liking the game doesn't mean everyone should hate it.
The funniest thing is seeing all the haters wanting the game to fail so badly, and gamers blatantly disregarding reviewers and enjoying the game. Just goes to show you how out of touch gaming journalist are from gamers. How do you even take some of these clowns seriously when they haven't even played the game yet feel the need to post an opinion like it matters.
Playing a game and watching a stream are vastly different experiences, I don't think anyone should take your opinion seriously specially after having admitted that you haven't even played the game. If it's that bad of a game and you find it boring why keep posting about it?
MS have very few AAA quality exclusives so it makes sense to put their games day 1 on GP. I suspect that if the quality of their games improved they would raise the monthly fee of their service.
Many people don't trust IGN anymore regardless of what game they review. They are so bias but if you need their approval or any other reviewers validation to enjoy a game well then that speaks volumes.
So basically don't criticize them so that they have even fewer incentives to actually improve the quality of their games. Yeah that makes a lot of sense.
Um that's the point they don't because they don't get criticized for it. If Sony or MS did that they would get hammered and you know it. It's Nintendo they make fun games they don't need to try because people will praise them and god for bid anyone dare call them out on it because fanboys like you will defend them. Surly Nintendo associated games don't get graded by a different scale specially at places like IGN.
We told y'all that streaming games was a terrible idea given the infrastructure in place hinders the experience. Yet all we kept hearing was Sony & MS better watch themselves google is coming to get them.
