It would have been a GREAT feature before the XB1 had its own games. The XB1 has a pretty good library now, it doesn't need the crutch of BC. I believe the XB1 catalogue is strong enough to walk on its own. I think at this point MS was just trying to grab some low hanging fruit.
Compete with 360 games? Playstation already did that from 2006-2013 and it was a victory. Now it's time for XB1 to attempt to compete with PS4. Backwards compatibility is the wrong direction MS needs to be heading.
Metacritic is an average of all relevant realities. On average, your reality does not jive with the realities of the masses. That doesn't mean you're wrong or right. Who cares? It's a fun ass game for most people. Enjoy it or play something else.

I had a short stint(2 years) doing QA in third party, actually..before getting a real job. The PS2 was still in test, and the PS3 was about to come out when I started. We let NOTHING get by. I heard from friends that surprisingly still work there that its gone downhill dramatically. In fact, unofficial button prompts should still be part of the checklist.. God we used to work from 9am to midnight.
im certain sony 3rd party QA doesnt exist anymore. If you work there currently, what are you even doing? what's your excuse? when i worked for sony a million years ago, **** like this would not happen.
