I just tried to enter that sweepstakes, funny as hell...

Yah, loved the first one, can't wait for the 2nd to come to NA.
I have it and love it. The graphics basically make it look like an anime and the online multiplayer is fun (was the one thing missing from the first game). The story mode for it is pretty good, just about accurate boss fights (as to how it played out in the anime), and they skip all the filler from the anime to get to the good parts. Also, love the voice actors from the jap version being usable, sounds a lot better to my ears than the English voice actors.
"Indeed, not one of the million-plus user-created levels for LittleBigPlanet earned anyone a dime"
Not true. I remember an article a while ago about people who created some great levels being offered jobs by Media Molecule. Overall, interesting article.
And one last thing, "So when EA announced the Little Big Planet 2 closed beta test", I don't think it was EA that announced it...
Heavy Rain was because Sony wanted them to do Move, which made them have no time for the other DLC. They did get one DLC out there luckily.
Free skin and challenges for me :)
From when I played the beta, no. Each class had a specific gender to it. You might have similar classes that have opposite genders, but each class has a specific gender.
"Silly American sweatshop, not made in Chinese sweatshop!"
/\ Western companies and Sony. Sony gives a lot of creative freedom to its devs and time to perfect their games.
Also, from reading the article, more along the lines of A. "There are of course publishers who keep developers ‘like pets’ but overseas there are more independent developers." That and when he mentioned "if he tried to do anything "brashly" within Capcom but was met with commercial failure, he would've been demoted."
Good thing I've never had a blue ray disk of mine scratch or found a used game with the BR inside scratched.
Don't forget Best Buy, who will ask you if you want them to install your PS3 game or upgrade your PS3's firmware...
"So as soon as the bell rings, start flailing like mad. Sure, your onscreen representation may look like a schizophrenic swatting the demons away (and truth be told, real-life you probably looks like that, too)"
God, I would love someone to have video taped his fights. Would be worth a few laughs if he did as he wrote.
Yep, definitely hope EA gets it. Activision will milk the franchise to death with a new game every year and then charge $15 for stuff already on the disc. MS might try to get it since no more Halo and not a lot of first party studios pumping out exclusives.
/\ Sony buys studios and exclusive DLC, what "several instances" are you talking about for timed DLC?
A 2 month timed exclusive on 3D from Best Buy? Yay... Would have been nice if 2K announced it ahead of time.
Yep, usually easy, normal, hard, and then a pain in the ass hard mode that's locked at the start till you beat it once.
"We can't have pure one to one. Which means doing a gesture and having exactly the same on screen, because its very difficult and there's lot of technical issues involved."
Didn't people bash The Fight at first when it was all gesture based? Also, nice 2 second lag on Fighters Uncaged.
Loving the game too. Just wish I could zone into the Lucky 38 section of the Strip without the game freezing every time.
RE5 was a cruel thing to do the Resident Evil. Slant Six can't do any worse.
Damn, they want our money bad...
Who knows, they might follow Best Buy next and offer to install your games onto the console's hard drive...
