You know I was seriously thinking about adding D4 to the list before I published it. That game definitely will make very good use of Kinect and so will Rivals too.
Would love to see a new God of War teased from Sony this year as well.
I definitely would agree with you on that. The Last of Us, BioShock Infinite, and GTA V are just a few reasons why 2013 was memorable. The next-gen consoles are just getting started so def dont have high expectations for this year.
Sure there is no challenge in it but I also said within that very same article that any indie or unannounced title could easily join the GOTY list as well. No disrespect to your points or what you said but the fact you pointed out something that I already said in the actual article gives me the impression that you didn't read the entire article. But its all good though lol
I'd say The Witcher 3 is definitely the strongest candidate for now.
While these are early picks as I've mentioned in the title, I have actually played and seen all of these games at E3 and several other gaming events last year. There is no denying that these games will all be the most highly talked about this year and will essentially shape and impact the industry as a whole. I'll add that my GOTY 2013 post which was published in 2012 was spot on accurate. If you need further proof, just look at the link below.

Honorable mentions would go to The Wolf Among Us, The Walking Dead: Season Two, Uncharted 4, and possibly The next Legend of Zelda game if Nintendo releases it.
Great episode and hopefully Episode 2 will drop in time for the midseason premiere of The walking dead in February.
A very modest month for releases overall but if episode 2 of The Wolf Among Us actually comes out then I will have no complaints.
Some very cool and interesting choices on this list overall. I definitely would love to see Telltale work with Bioware on Mass Effect episodic content.
Telltale have definitely been on quite a roll as of late. I must question though, when will they ever develop a proper release schedule for their games? I read a recent notice where they said new episodes of The Walking Dead Season Two would be released every 4-6 weeks. Judging by how they treated The Wolf Among Us, I highly doubt that will happen.
As someone who has played both the current gen and next-gen versions of these EA Sports games I must say that i'm highly disappointed in the company overall. NBA LIVE 14 is trash, Madden NFL 25 isn't really all that improved, and FIFA 14 is pretty lackluster. Using 2K Sports as a prime example, you can see that the next-gen version of NBA 2K14 is far more advanced than the current gen version. EA Sports needs to take note of this and change things immediately or otherwise expect to ke...
I think The Witcher 3 will most certainly be a 2014 Game of the Year contender. CD Projekt Red has really gone above and beyond with the franchise and I feel it will finally payoff.
Both games look interesting and carry some very intriguing ideas. I'll definitely be watching both these games and see where they go.
I never really got into Neverwinter but I'm definitely anxious to try it out now.
Def enjoying Enemy Unknown so far and I'll pick this up as soon as I can.
Great game and a nice bonus for PSN Plus members.
Those are some good points. I haven't played it yet but I def plan to.
Hands down my most anticipated PlayStation exclusive so far in 2014.
I agree 100% with you on this. I really think Remedy will knock it out the park with this one.
