I would definitely be more inclined to play TPS with KBM than FPS with controller so I can get that, but controller still feels more natural in third person.

Same here. I can’t stand FPS with a controller. I can’t stand third person with mouse and keyboard either.

Again........Microsoft's "top request" was Gold and Game Pass in one subscription. That's what MS said. If the top request was Game Pass for PC and Game Pass for Xbox in one subscription, I'm sure Microsoft would have highlighted that, but they didn't.

So all this speculation and anecdotal references doesn't carry much weight when we know exactly what MS said.

Games needing patches after release does not make the game a rental or "on loan". There is no point in even discussing this.

lol.....no it is not. I finished AC:V and got the platinum. I can trade it in towards another game and get $17 as of right now at Game Stop and that game has been out since November. That is not "nothing".

Why pay for them separately if you can pay for them together? Just more convenient. I'm not saying EA Access and xCloud are not good incentives. I'm saying the reason Ultimate exists is to combine XLG and Game Pass into one. Exactly as Microsoft said during Ultimates reveal. Including EA Access and xCloud was added to sweeten the deal. Neither was a part of Ultimate when it was announced. Just facts.

I disagree. To me, it is boring and the gameplay is horrible. It is a beautiful open world, that is certain. But there is just nothing there compelling me to stay in it.

Nah, I disagree. The primary reason for Ultimate is online gaming. I doubt very seriously most Xbox console gamers care about the PC side of Game Pass or xCloud.

Essentially, GWG is in competition with Game Pass and that puts MS in a tight spot. They want more gamers in Game Pass so they are not going to make GWG appealing, but at the same time they are getting negative press for GWG being so shitty.

How can you say they "don't work anything like the ones in Ubisoft games"? The towers in BOTW unlock portions of the map and serve as fast travel points exactly like they do in Ubisoft games. I don't have a problem with its use in BOTW or any other game, but their function is clearly taken from Ubisoft.
