That is a stupid thing to say.. MS has a ton of games for 08 that are floating around and they haven't even properly showed their hand yet for their 08 line-up. You will probably see it at GC or TGS and I think MS has it's own event planned for Europe.

The 360 will have MODs now as well and this sounds like the start of allowing dedicated servers for publishers similar to Sony's model.
They are already doing it with all EA titles and I believe EnchantedArms or other RPG. But of course if the publisher decides to pull the servers like EA does for older games, they will all come whining to MS. Shame.

what it is with MS wanting to give all the experiences of the 360 to the PC. I'm sure it's money motivated, but I would almost gather that the next Xbox won't exist and they will get out of the console hardware business and just do everything on the PC. Everytime I see something like this I can help to think that it gives one less reason to own an Xbox 360.

There has been NO problems with systems with the new heatsync. Otherwise it would be posted on every gaming site there is, Sony fudgepackers would never let that one slip by.
The CPU's are not defective. It's the connection to the motherboard that's the problem. The 65nm die's give you NO advantage other than they reduce some heat output, how much is argueable. But having the new heatsync in the boxes fixes this heat issue so if people are waiting for the 65nm like it's going to give you some huge advantage is a waste.

Sony's system was originally delayed because of Blu-ray diode issues but the devkits were out right around the same time the 360's were so I'm not buying it.

but MS has fixed the problem with a new heatsync they are installing in all their systems. It wasn't just a 3 year warranty.
MS doesn't want to continue fixing these consoles over and over as much as people don't want them to break.

Halo 3 should do very well.
a "dirt" style game can match Motorstorms graphics and physics I'm not interested.. These screenshots look OK, but not meeting my expectations. Motorstorm set the bar for offroad arcade style racers IMO with the only downside being the limited number of tracks. I won't purchase another until it meets or exceeds it.
Back to school, people still out for the summer, holidays coming..
