No, I don't buy a freakin game console to watch movies! This was Sony's idea to push the Blu-ray format into living rooms.

Call of Duty 2, Kameo and Condemned were 3 games that launched and were awesome.

Activition, they have put out sooo many AAA titles on the PS3 they definately know the power of the cell.

You can stream all your music and media from a Windows PC, even with a Core. If you want to download Video Marketplace then yes you need a high speed connection and an HDD.
I do everything on my 360 and I play .divx, .vcd, x264, mkv and all from my network.. I watch live TV, record live TV and everything I can do on my PS3 and more. BUT, you need to have a Media Center PC to get the full feature set but with Media Player it does movies and music streaming from a network nicely.
You can surf the web with a 360, however you need to run Media Center. I should know I do it all the time, the PS3 can browse the web as well and it's browser is far superior. You said you had a 360, install Media Center and it will open up a whole new set of features to you.
I didn't mean to sound all Anti-PS3, I just know the 360 has these features available but it takes additional work. Out of the box the PS3 supports more features and I won't disagree with that.
@1.1 - That had some bad punctuation. Yes, you are right it does support DVD Playback. I'm not so sure about the 7.1 however. I agree with everything else you said and I do know that people are running Linux on the 360 but it's not supported out of the box and not considered "legal" I guess.
@1.3 - I did say Blu-ray and what are you going to do with Bluetooth besides sync a headset. The 360 has wireless controllers that use it's own signal.. I don't really see how...
The 360 does everything but freakin Blu-Ray and 7.1 (does 5.1), storage(wtf is that mean?) and DVD Playback. It also upscales everything via the build in scaler chip which the PS3 does not have. With HDMI or VGA you can do native 1080p as well.
I can surf the web, access network media, its got TV and PVR functions, web portal, Movies on demand and you can even run Linux if your willing to downgrade the kernal and use the shader exploit. :)

Why can't Sony offer a similar offer with games in NA? Putting Spider-Man BR with the 40gig is lame since I'm buying a game machine primarily. The 80gig has Motorstorm and that is decent, but the 60gig here comes with nothing. I really think if they did a similar bundle here it would sell well.

@2.1 - Have you been living under a rock?? There have been tons of developer walkthru's and gameplay videos.. No you can't just shoot the guy in the head in the middle of dialog trees, but there is plenty of head shooting and vehicle driving, etc in the game.. It's a freakin Action style RPG.. Can you interrupt someone in Oblivion while they are talking and chop their head in half? I'm sure it will work along the same lines. Go play Resista...
