The problem with writing a movie for a film which already has an established story like The Last of Us, is that you either just re-tell the same story, or you create a new one.
For a game, you have many hours to grow a personal attachment as you go through events with them.
In a movie, you're lucky to have 2 hours to see events happen, and little time to get to know the character.
No one would bat an eyelid if a TV cost $500...so why is it then people think that getting a miniaturised screen with high definition that sits less than a inch from your eye and have to run a high fps should be so cheap, I don't understand.
I'm sure that Sony if anyone could produce a low cost product, they would.... but this is the first generation of the consumer product, so it might be a while before it really becomes mainstream.

Activision like many companies often need to be beat'en over the head with the facts before they start to see sense.
It makes sense that after a few years when technology has improved, that they redevelop the same amount of processing power into smaller and more efficient chips and then re-design the console to produce it at a cheaper price.
