LO isn't made by SE so you should have listed flops like Last Remnants and infinite undiscovery(lol!) instead.
and they are not known for acting rationally
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and i have every right to dislike SE. fyi VC has the highest metacritic score for JRPGs this gen, so what's your point?
I was actually a pretty hardcore FF fan back in the PS2 days, so yes they do make great games...but have they released anything good after KH2?
Very fair and unbiased analysis, and it just gave me more reasons to hate SE
@Cold 2000
if you think Eternal Sonata and BlueDragon are good jrpgs, you probably haven't played any decent ones yet
looks like i'm gonna have to preorder this after all
anyway i refuse to get hyped for something i know absolutely nothing about :/
but it looks like much of the gameplay has been recycled and is re-used in Uncharted. I'm guessing that high budget was the main reason why it was put on hold, the fact that SP-centric game don't sell well doesn't help either.
*fingers crossed* Hope it gets announced next year, it'll fit nicely in between Uncharted2 & its inevitable sequel.
This is the 2nd best multiplayer experience after kz2 imo. However the learning curve is a tad too steep, hence new players find it hard to get into it.
That was a seriously good ad, the impossible just happened
MW2 will sell better but UC2 will still be the superior game regardless. Pity there's so many people out there who willingly get ripped off for the same old experience, it's really beyond me.
on-topic: Hm...i'm not sure how things work here, will Sony gain much from this deal? Does publishing duties mean Sony getting a larger slice of the profits??
gotta agree with their situation though, hope they can find some innovative way of implementing both trophies and a demo. I will still buy it regardless of how it turns out though, games like HR comes out once in a blue moon
I have no doubt it will be great, though the demo didn't exactly wow me. Not sure if it will be better than inFamous though tbh, the button mashing combat isn't really my style but the stealth mechanic seems polished and solid enough.
It has really been a great year imo :)
It started off with a bang(Killzone2),followed by Demon's Souls, inFamous,BlazBlue and now we get BatmanAA. There are good fillers in between too, like RE5,RedFaction&SF4.
And this fall, w...
that was hilarious.
Sorry to say, but if UT3 ran perfectly fine on the PS3, Gears on PS3 is definitely more than possible. And i'll smash my left nut if that last-gen looking L4D can't run on the PS3.
but this whole thing is freaking hilarious :D
Imagine the EA mods waking up and expecting another boring day only to find the whole world in flames LOL!!! they must have definitely gone 'WTF happened?!!!'
but you guys are making things difficult for me :/
has there been more news regarding that??
zzzz...
what happened to the old Square that gave us ff7,8,9&10, Kingdom hearts and the Parasite Eve series?
And all my buddies are laughing with me now, how do you 'Aim to squeeze into 3 dvds' and 'get the maximum performance' at the same time? Kitase please, you were never good at lying...
I put up with garbage like FFX-2,Dirge of Cerberus, FF12(wasn't really that bad but was disappointing after being in development for so long) and continued supporting them(Kingdom Heart 2 being the sole reason)
Less than a year later, their decision to not release any games on the ps3 was the last straw and they lost the special place in my heart.
Right now, I just want to see them go bankrupt. A gimped FF13 isn't going to change that one bit
PS1 was my first console, and i grew up playing FF7,8&9(Square)& SO2(Enix). When they merged, naturally i thought it was a match made in heaven. I've bought every single PS2 game made by SE, even garbage like FFX-2 & Dirge of Ceberus and below-par ones like SO3 & FF12. But even being a SE fanboy, i could sense the gradual decline in quality. If it wasn't for Tetsuya Nomura i'd probably given up on SE a lot earlier.
