I have played 3 extremely memorable AAA games which are imho the best in their respective genres(best FPS - KZ2, best RPG - Demon's Souls, best sandbox - inFamous).
Then you get upcoming blockbusters like Uncharted 2,R&C:aCiT,NG Sigma 2,
and very possible the king of driving sim - GT5.
So yes, in terms of exclusives, Sony won 2009 hands-down.

It came from nowhere,with virtually no hype/exposure and turned out to become one of the top 3 games i've played this gen(other 2 being MGS4 & KZ2).

Review scores are pretty pointless imho, especially at this time and age where marketing is the dominant sales factor.

The last i heard, forza couldn't even handle more than 8 cars in a single race...which is puzzling considering that the graphics is nothing special.

I'm probably getting this as a x-mas present for my niece, but i guess this game suffered for being too ambitious? I mean it is a DS game after all(nothing against DS just stating a fact) and there is definitely a limit to how far the game can go especially with the cartridge limit. That was the main reason why i was skeptical when everyone was hyping it up during E3
but i'm a little worried since there was no mention of improved resolution...i have not played any sub-HD PS3 game yet and i really don't want to :/
