i know better than to judge games purely on reviews...but 10/10 from Eurogamer??
I've played over 40 games(no junks) this gen and inFamous is one of my top 3 new IPs and in my overall top ten list.
It has a great story, interesting characters, graphics are pretty good for a sandbox game and above all - it's a freaking fun game to play.
Deadspace is really good, and i still believe it is the best multiplatform title out there. The atmosphere,story,controls and combat are superb, though a tad repetitive 'cause they recycled quite a few levels. Don't know if it's due to lack of dev time or limited disc space but i hope its sequel would boast more levels and locales.
No one will believe me if i say Demon's Souls is one of top 3 new IPs released this gen, but i really feel that it is THAT good. I'll pick Uncharted f...
they sound kind of reluctant to hand out that 5/5 though. Tell me, are these guys harsh? I'm avoiding all the reviews and videos since i want to start UC2 with zero knowledge of what to expect :)
I don't know what you have been seeing through that fanboy googles of yours, but i would say that the overall tone of the comments is more towards 'MOCKING'.
I don't see anyone raging over forza, why would ps3 gamers be angry over jaggies,false promises and deflated hype? That forza dev just got caught with his pants down, anyone with a sense of humor would find that hilarious :D
The Motorstorm games on PS3 were a blast and looks like the PSP version will not disappoint either :D
i know metacritics doesn't matter much, but just letting you guys know that the meta average is currently at a whooping 98/100!!!
And the best thing being? Eurogamer review isn't even up yet lol

PD don't spend their time dissing their opponents and instead concentrate more on their game.
Unlike certain devs, PD are not desperate for hype, they have too much class for that. They don't go shouting "GT5 is the DEFINITIVE sim, with day/night cycle and weather system! We offer you features the other devs can only dream of!".

Non-gamers will undoubtedly find the PS3 to be much cooler. The design is slick and stylish, it has cool touch buttons,it is QUIET,it emits little heat(hence 'cooler'),and the way you insert BD disc is pretty cool too.
As for gamers, we find the PS3 library to be much cooler :D
the graphics could have been stunning...
Oh well, this is the FF i'm looking forward to, hope they get it done by spring 2011.
I would love to see more of the dark metropolitan setting they have been showing, everything in this game looks stylish and classy.
Maybe they will learn something from this...i doubt it though.

Maybe all PS3-exclusives are expected to set the new standard for the industry, which they ALWAYS do. Then again what were they expecting?
95/100 is a very good score considering Meristation don't hand out 9s that often.
I'm ok with the lack of a career mode, but my budget only allows me to buy 1 psp game and i have to choose between GT and Motorstorm:AE :/
