most of the sequels announced were more or less expected to show up in E3 (ok maybe not LBP2), so no harm done in releasing early previews imo.
I think Sony is saving new IPs for surprise announcements..
i was literally stunned when i went through that list....this game is going to be another genre-defining exclusive
man they really spiced up the attack animation and effects this time, 2H axe looks badass!
it will take a while before i get used to the new Cole but i kind of like the change. I love the way the story is heading and it seems that Sucker Punch is working on the few issues i had with the first game, can't wait!

Considering that Heavy Rain is my favourite game this gen and the fact that SE has yet to produce something that isn't crap, i say it is a good sign....as long as they are aiming to emulate QD's story telling quality and attention to detail.
However this is Wada we are talking about and there's every reason to worry.

I'll leave the technical comparisons to the people at DF but Crytek needs to fix the tearing and AA of their game before they can challenge GG. Their particle and smoke effects need more polish too.
As for art style, its pretty clear which game has a more unique design

Even if it ends up being extremely good, i can see reviewers giving it an average of 8, remember the first Uncharted? (1) new IP (2) a shooter without MP (3) low hype
When developers say they are tapping into the full potential of the PS3 and the final product ends up looking like a last gen game compared to GOW3,UC2 and KZ2...we say that they are lying...or in the case of Ghostbusters, we ask them to go f#$% themselves.
Right now though, it's still too early to tell but leading on the PS3 is a start...as long as they are telling the truth
I know it won't happen but i would love to see Sev switch side halfway through the campaign. I always wanted to fight on the Helghast side :p
