well said :)
Don't forget the PSN exclusive RTS -> UNDERSIEGE
with the new Platinum status and Move-support (MAG is the first FPS to do this), i forsee lots of newcomers jumping on board over the next few weeks
Sony themselves stated that they expected sales to be slow at the start but will pick up as positive word of mouth spreads...just like the Eyetoy did back in the PS2 days.
I'm pretty sure 300000 units would be more or less in line with their expectations.
and it would still be justified since GT5 packs in more content than any 2 games conbined while pushing graphics that belongs to the next generation of consoles :p
@the_only_lol_king thx for the youtube link
Stop being anal and use your brain for a moment.
I roll my eyes every single time i hear people complaining about the 'removal of BC'. There were 2 BC-enabled SKUs (60gb and 80gb) available for years before the Slim was introduced and if you imbeciles chose to ignore them...well...too fucking bad. You got more than what you paid for with the Slim anyway. Don't pretend as if there was never an option in the first place.
And fyi, most sequels like t...
the Castlevania dudes did a pretty good job showcasing the graphics of their game and never once did they complain about the so-called 'difficulties'.
LoS also happens to run better on the PS3 (the 360 version suffers from framerate problems according to Gamespot) and unlike some pussy devs, Mercury Steam has the balls to bypass the paltry DVD limit to provide us with more content.
Long story short: Dear NT, if you guys can't keep up with industry...
where did you get the date from? Is it official?
Sony is probably the best publisher to work for in the gaming industry. They give devs lots of creative freedom(e.g. Heavy Rain) and are EXTREMELY patient(e.g. GT5). Sony also seem to place lots of faith in their devs as Ted Price (and GG) can affirm.
"We have a great relationship with them. We love the PlayStation platform. I'm not lying when I tell you it's a really killer technological platform for us to work on. The support and marketing, and also their appr...
i'm just predicting that MLAA will be used because according to DigitalFoundry's latest article on the LBP2 engine, it's easy as hell to implement and is already provided to all devs. When Bioware talks about the different strengths of systems, i assume this must be one the features they meant.
"MLAA is now a part of the Edge tools available to all PS3 developers and it's effectively a drop-in component that can be added in an afternoon of coding - expect...
Superior MLAA tech is pretty much confirmed at this point imo. I just hope that there will be lots of content added in.
i'm pretty sure it does
i feel the same way. The day single player games disappear is the day i quit gaming. Though I wouldn't mind if they all follow the Demon's Souls model.
*whistle* what a lovely design
but i definitely enjoyed GOW2 more. From the breathtaking Steeds of Time to the Medusa bossfight leading up to (my personal favourite) Sisters of Fate showdown, the epicness never stops.
anyway i'm picking up the Razing Storm Move bundle day one
the videos are professionally made and they actually go into detail about the IMPORTANT stuff (unlike those retarded IGN reviewers)
Bookmarked.
i've been waiting for this ever since they first announced the HD collection series
well one thing for sure, i'll love to have more games that doesn't revolve solely around killing stuff and leveling up.
For example, there are countless of zombie games out there right now but i never understood why none of them bother to reinvent the aging formula. I want to see a survival horror game that encourages players to work together as a team to escape from the infested area. With minimum weaponry, players will be forced to make use of the environment to bar...
but this is a Day One.
