i consider LBP,Warhawk & Motorstorm:PR to be essential in your games collection
MGS4 has the best plot twist, Prototype has the worst twist(combined with one of the worst plot i've the misfortune of going thr)
but i don't think anyone can disagree that this is a game with one hell of an ambition.

other than that the game is really refreshing and fun.
I really like EA this gen, the same cannot be said for Activision
i haven't seen the rest yet but judging from the dumb choices i see in the ps3 list, i'm have to say that gameplayer.com has one hell of a 'unique' taste. So unique in fact that i'm pretty sure only 0.1% of the entire gaming population agrees with them.
Granted,i found games that were off my radar (main reason why i read it) but what the hell! GOW3,GT5,HeavyRain,WKC,FFXIV.. ..none of them made the list???? Really?!?!
i replayed the campaign again last week and i'm pretty sure i used the save file before the 1.28 patch. Nothing happened though

i really need a gameplay trailer soon because i don't buy into all the hype about its supposedly benchmark-setting gfx. Since the likelihood of Wardevil surpassing KZ2 gfx is close to nil, i hope they are really bringing something new to the action genre

KZ2 is undoubtedly the most impressive engine out in the market right now. But i remember reading an article saying that due to the way it is built, something 'loading-related', it made splitscreen feature impossible. Is that true? i really want more splitscreen games :(
M$ is playing dirty again. How someone can successfully patent such a vague and universal concept like this is really beyond me. i say f*** their underhanded business practices, but at the same time i must say that the modern patenting system is f***ing screwed up. oh wth had Sony patented the 'concept' of inserting a disc-based media into a console machine, i wonder if the xbox would still be alive right now

it may be useful in countering the never ending wave of retarded anti-Sony smear campaigns(i'm serious,you see them everywhere even on a 'PS3-site' like n4g). I'm pretty sure there are those who hold off buying a ps3 because they keep hearing how it is failing,has no games,going the way of the Dreamcast..etc,etc..all that BS
I have never once regretted buying a ps3(even back in '07) and it has kept me entertained all this while. Great games comes at a steady pace(mostly 1st part...
Twisted Metal & Legend of Dragoon
KZ2 ultimately did so many things right plus it pushed console gfx to a whole new level. Sure there's no co-op but the awesome clan system more than make up for it imo. The MP is really well designed and it is the only FPS that i've played through the SP campaign 6 times(damn i really love the intensity). And all this is achieved with only their 1st effort on the PS3 :)
EXCEPT for...'It is such a sigh of relief to finally play a game on the PS3 is that an exclusive and worthy of a $60 purchase'...is the reviwer a 360 fanboy? I've bought Uncharted,R&C:ToD,Warhawk, MGS4,Motorstorm2,R2,KZ2 and inFamous all on day 1 and he is trying to tell me none of them justified their price? that is serious bs
EA has redeemed themselves this gen imo, they have released gems like Burnout Paradise(with free DLCs+trophy support),FIFA09,Deadspace & FNR4.
They've also shown willingness to take risk by publishing new IPs like Deadspace(this along with FIFA09 are the only 2 multiplats i own) and MirrorEdge. Not to mention that I'm looking forward to DragonAge:Origins
ToD was already looking phenomenal back then, so no surprises there
