esp. after reading the reviews and realizing that it was totally my type of game. I'm not going to make that mistake again :p
why does everyone have to use a gun? Not trying to criticise the game here, but i do prefer a variety of weapons. 'coz i'm worried that the customisation options will be limited due to that
i really think this gen started on Feb 09, so in a way i too feel like i'm in the launch year of the PS3 :)
but i still play it for 1-2 hrs per week. Gameplay is really solid and it's raelly fun to play co-op with a friend :)
o.0 i'm really trying to avoid all these articles....but...*feeling giddy*
i would love to see a DLC add-on episode, something like the Epilogue DLC for PoP.
i thought i was going to see the real deal, oh well...
the problem is that 80% of the gaming population don't research much and are either too lazy or too stupid to stand up against tyrants like Activision.
Square-Enix knows that, which is precisely why they will re-release SO4 again on PS3 with some minor additions and maybe 1-2 useless characters. Sad thing is...it will sell well. Oh well, hopefully the poor sales of the 360 version had waken them up and teached them not to screw with their fanbase again.
Don't get me wrong, i do enjoy WRPG, but JRPG has always been more to my taste.
There seems to be a tendency for WRPG to focus too much on map size & the number of quests, and as a result, the overall storyline suffers. Take Oblivion4 for example, the story, towns,NPCs were so bland and uninteresting. The quests(even the main ones) never excites me, and i decided to give up playing after my 1st journey into the daemon's world(which was probably the most boring setting i've ever play...
heh that's exactly what i thought. My jaw literally dropped when i 1st saw it.
Over time, I actually mastered the art of manipulating the canisters. It never fails to bring a smile to my face everytime i see a canister fly towards an enemy and explode in his face :)
imo,RE5 is the classic example of a game with horrible physics that really destroys immersion.
either (a)Have never played KZ2 before (b)Have never played COD4 before
(c)Ate a grenade for breakfast
Seriously, does it look any different from COD4? I understand the saying 'don't fix if it's ain't broken' and i know the ability to control the chopper's turret is cool and all....BUT what is so explosive about the footage shown??
I'm not a hardcore shooting fan so KZ2 is the only FPS i need. Uncharted2 will cover everything else.
There's plenty of games from other genres coming out this fall too. I know i'm picking up DragonAge,R&C,AC2,Borderla nds,FIFA2010, NGSigma2 & Saboteur. I certainly hope GT5 make it in time too! :)
I also highly recommend Demon's Souls for ppl who didn't import it.
And if you own a 360, there's Halo odst,l4d2&forza 3.
So you see..it's pr...
i love LBP and i think it is unmatched when it comes to replay value.
However, wouldn't it be cooler had they actually added stuff like the ability to shoot & absorb electicity? I mean there are even electric blocks provided in the game and the ability to draw energy from them would be nothing short of awesome!
oh well...there's still the trusty old paint gun i guess :p
i think there wouldn't be such a big fuss had VG copied only 50-75% of GOW gameplay, added their own style and touch to it,some innovations here and there, under a different setting&atmosphere....just like how Deadspace turned out.
The problem here is..well it's obvious isn't it? DI is a blatant rip-off/carbon copy of GOW, you just can't help but notice the signature GOW-style everywhere in the game.
Now i better get the beta invitation for this one or else...seriously i always get left out of betas :(
YES! Finally!
While we will probably never ever know the true reasons behind all this delays...one can't help but suspect that stupid MW2 is behind it all.
My god i can almost picture the Activision people popping off champagnes in celebration..wait they were already doing that when they announce their prediction of 15 million sales a while ago, they are probably having an orgy now or something
@edit yeah i would be quite pissed if i'm a 360 owner too, just like how MAG's delay disappoi...
well it's just my opinion, but VS has a better setting, atmosphere and feel to it, coz all this sci-fi 'Star Wars' thingy doesn't look very interesting or inspired to me. Oh btw this is coming from someone who thinks FF8 is the best of the series, so you can see why i prefer VS :)
All those of us who have played Demon's Souls knows it's awesome and is probably the best jrpg released thus far for this gen. However DS is more of an action-rpg, so it is kinda appropriate to use it as...
MW2 will get more votes simply because (a)Unjustified hype (b)Multiplatform title, appease both sides (c)the COD name
Don't kill me for this, but atm i still think KZ2 is GOTY for me :)
though I suspect UC2 will replace it soon, based on the vids i saw recently, but until then...*picks up boltgun*
well to be fair, most (quality) games uses treasure hunts as an optional sidequest (trophies, source of income, power upgrade, etc..)
Rented Prince of Persia recently and while i absolutely love the beautiful art style and the great story (what an epic twist!) , i do hate the way they force me to hunt for light orbs to continue the story. It kind of break the pacing imo.
Treasure hunting is definitely my least favourite part of gaming.
