Halo was one of, if not the first console FPS to use the twin stick control style. No console FPS had ever incorporated vehicles the way Halo did. The AI and graphics were some of the best in the business. It introduced console LAN to the masses. What about the insane amount of aimbot/ESP hackers on MW3 PC? I am level 48, and I honestly have yet to see a game with no hackers. I'd say up to 40% of the players use wallhacks, and every other game has an aimbotter getting 20 kills before anyone else has 5. And trust me, I know the difference between highly skilled players and hackers. It is ridiculous.

A) You can't blame Anonymous. They said they did not cause this, and a group as self centered as Anonymous would no doubt take credit for something this major. Maybe they influenced some other hacker to do this, but if you look up to Anonymous as role models, then you have pre-existing problems. Blame society in general.

I would be ok with this, as long as no games REQUIRED an 'upgraded console.' But then again, what would be the point of upgrading if you didn't HAVE to have it. It would not make the games much better. Basically, the 2 situations would be A) Games that require upgrades (which sucks) or B) Games being made that only require default consoles, therefore hardly utilizing the upgrades. It would be very similar to the whole Crysis 2 thing. Crysis 2 is better on PC for sure, but not mile...
I find the MP to be insanely entertaining. Much more so than CoD or KZ3. I never got to plat BFBC2 when it always had full lobbies, so I can't judge there. It is more run and gun than BF though. Much smaller maps.
The SP was very linear and lacked variety in enemies. The MP fulls somewhat unbalanced and is lacking many features. That said though, if you are looking for a solid FPS title that looks amazing, KZ3 is just that. Don't expect a lot of innovation though. If you want something that feels a little different, but still executes on core FPS mechanics, try Crysis 2.
Though I have never played a Resistance game, I have to agree on KZ3. I have been an avid Xbox gamer since Xbox 1 launch. I always wanted a PS3 though, as I am not a fanboy, so I sold my 360 and bought a PS3 along with KZ3. While it was a good game, I had no desire to go back to the SP, and the MP got boring fast. Though it is miles better than CoD(a series I hate), IMO the MP just isn't nearly as engaging as other FPS titles. (Halo, Gears, BF, Quake...even Crysis 2) I traded it into Game...
How about a universal patch for the god awful hit detection/lag. And don't say "get a better connection" or "learn to play". This is one of the most fun MP experiences I have had in ages....when it works correctly. I pray it gets better.
I like CoD4 the best. When people didn't camp for kills and the maps had a real flow to them.
Yeah, I talk a lot about that in the review. Especially when someone calls in a gunship...it is almost unplayable. Hope they fix it by launch.

If they start charging for online play, then either a)other developers will follow suit, or b) COD will fall off the map. Honestly, I think people actually would pay to play. SO, if other developers adopt the same trend, gamers will get picky about which games they actually buy. I mean seriously, who wants to keep track on monthly payments on 4 or 5 games at a time? The whole thing is just lame.
You could say the same thing about Vaas. The game was not any better or worse because he was straight.
