Clever title.
The beta really showed how lousy the EA servers are and what to expect when you throw down the $60 to attempt to play online. You may think: "It's the beta, of course they weren't expecting 'x' amount of people to come on." No, their servers are ALWAYS bad -- look at their sports titles, simply a fucking joke.
And here comes another PC elitist.
And you have it for the PlayStation 3?
@gogospeedracer: From the looks of how he displayed this setup, it seems that he's purchased this pre-built? I'm only assuming as there's no need to post up what Network Adapter you have. So, he definitely got overcharged, unless he just felt the need to tell us the useless shit on his computer that will in no way affect the performance for playing RAGE.
Suit yourself.
@gogospeedracer: Within a month or two your SSD will die on you -- guaranteed. Anyways, thank you for trying to show off that you have a lot of money to waste on a gaming rig.
Just a quick question: Who the fuck would disagree with my statement? How would you -not- want to get a game you want earlier than its release date. I think there's just users on this website that will simply 'disagree' with any ol' comment.
I wish I was lucky enough to get games early. :(

Well, I'm able to run mostly high settings on the Battlefield 3 beta with pretty good FPS; 50-110 FPS. Texture quality is actually on Ultra, while the rest is on high, although anti-aliasing is a like on medium / off (there's two anti-aliasing settings).
I was too worried RAGE would hurt my poor PC, although I'd think my specifications would meet the requirements and still be able to run at good settings;
GTX 580
AMD Phenom II X4 3.5GHZ
8GB DDR3 RAM
Although I'm sure you guys would be better experts than myself.
@Ace_Man_6: What are you doing on a gaming website? You're only able to run about fifteen games on the whole market, so I think you're the one who fails. 8-)
Looks great, in my opinion. Although I skipped the beginning part -- since I didn't want to spoil anything for myself. I checked out the game play, towards the middle of the video and it seemed really solid. I'm purchasing this for the Play Station 3, mind you.

Personally I feel that the PlayStation 3 version will be the best of the console versions, and despite the 8GB mandatory installation, I think it's worth it considering if you want to instal...
What system was the game available to be played on? I've pre-ordered the game for the PlayStation 3 and I'm still a little worried that it won't be as good -- obviously I'm aware it won't be as good graphically, but I'm hoping it will run at 60 frames per second, as promised.
Not quite, but yeah. You're most likely saying that while running their version of an operating system.
They have that since people are given early access to the beta, such as Kotaku and other websites. They set it at that outrageous price because they don't want random players downloading it, while they give these sites some sort of code and they download it through that.
I'm quite sure they stated it would be placed on two discs.
"but it does make me worry a bit about Skyrim's PC release."
Exactly. I'm so worried I'll get it for the PC and I'll run into shit like this. I'm already VERY disappointed with my purchase of RAGE, despite getting for the PlayStation 3. I'm full aware it was not going to be superior or whatever, but the pop-ins, the AI, the lack of story line, etc. It's just a totally bad experience that I was hoping the game would never be.
