I think the game looks incredibly better, graphically and gameplay wise. Who cares if David Bateson's monotone voice isn't being heard. I find the new improvements to be incredibly better, especially giving the player the ability to simply pick up a random item and use it as a weapon.
This would be my only reason to play the game.
The game has no storyline. There's no "Main Quest." What's the point of the rest of the game after you help out Dan? You have really no direction. You just become everyone's bitch afterwards. It's highly stupid and I can't see why anyone is giving this game a good rating as it's nothing more than eye candy -- despite the terrible texture pop-ins and lack of graphical options.
Too bad the lack of story really kills the game.
While this is totally game breaking, I find that the lack of story or a 'quest' (a goal, per se) really breaks the game.
I lost faith in id once I purchased RAGE and it completely sucked dick.
I'm currently awaiting to sell my PS3 copy along with the strategy guide for $50 over eBay.

Agree 100%. Definitely wasn't worth the $60, considering its 10-12 hour story to top it off.
It's great to look out into the scenery, then when you look at textures several feet ahead of you and notice they're grey blobs -- it really kills the atmosphere for me.
