From metacritic: Sony's "puppet publications"

in gametrailers, they said the camera programmer deserves an award, and the snow felt really real.
I thought real snow was the really cool graphical feature in uncharted 2, like water was in the original uncharted
how about getting blurays over netflix
@Alcon Caper
$1 + netflix fee = crystal clear 1080p bluray goodness
$4(live) + netflix fee = netflix streaming
which sounds better?
its not 7 million... they're using data for June 30th 2009
"the exploit is restricted to user mode, meaning modifying existing files on flash is out of the question. That means no custom firmware, kids."
@1.3
wait till those people find out you need firmware 6.00 to play gt psp(right now, there's only cfw 5.50). I guess you could rebuild the iso with decryptor, but people will be disappointed at first, getting that error message.
stuff like cfw and ctf themes are cool, but playing illegal games on the ps3 will never be possible.
1. Bluray burners are way too expensive(you may be able to get one, but not everyone else. This greatly limits the people that will support this
2. Bluray Games are too big to download. It might take days for you to download from a torrent site.
3. Not enough support. How many people are willing to spend money on a bluray burner when they could get 5-10 n...
I don't disagree with that point, but I was responding to this:
"There is evidence of actual HD resolutions on the 360 while the PS3 seems to have sub-HD.. So if anything it's the PS3 gimping itself.
I thought the PS3 was the "lead" platform on this game.. ? "
1. They are analyzing the 360 version only
2. They say the sub HD resolution(1024x576) looked better than the higher resolutions
3. The ps3 version also runs at 1024x576
4. They conclude with the ps3 could end up having better performance because it was "an arcade game running on PlayStation 3 hardware", they'll know when they get the ps3 preview code.
My Comment: ps3 dpad + fighting games = :)
atleast read this paragraph:
"The reason that 1024x576 resolution has been introduced is to accommodate the dynamic motion blur system that Namco-Bandai has added to the game. Similar to Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2, this effect is realistically calculated in order to produce the effect of motion smoother than the actual frame-rate. It actually works rather well, and the developers have added code that makes the game arguably look superior in some respects to the higher resolu...
Forza 2 sold 4m
GT5P sold 3.49 million(according to polyphony digital)
so a ps3 exclusive DEMO sold almost as much as a FULL 360 exclusive
using your logic... the demo was just as good as the game.
yep, all ps3 exclusives dont sell well, only a few million copies
oh ok, i understand, but in this instance I was right about the mods failing it, because im sure people reported it for being lame, not old, duplicate, etc.
"Blu-ray is slow, to slow for games"
how many times does it have to be until people get the message. Bluray is read the same speed across the whole disc. The 2x bluray drive on average can access more data than the 12x dvd drive in the 360.
Its just that on the outer rim of a dvd, the read speed is a little faster. You make it sound like bluray read speeds are extremely slow.

i cant see card/board or fps, but i pretty much agree with that list

"LOL. Sure. Is Sony going to sue Nintendo? "
they can't, nintendo uses a different technology, not one that uses a camera
@below
i find that hard to see how you can play chess? or am i not looking at it the right way
i agree with your blog, but i just have to comment on this:
"With around 100 reports on it (some of them being multiple reports from a single user) the story was failed"
Posts on N4G don't fail solely based on the reports. The mods have to delete the story if they want after they see the reports. Either that, or the story didnt get enough approvals
u guys are acting like this is real...
hey, iw built the ps3 and 360 versions of cod4 separately at a time where developers would do lousy ports
im just scared they might charge $2.99 for it.
its been 7 hours, more than enough time to finish it
