I agree. People just love to complain about anything. First the price then the games, and finally backwards compatibility. Sony is trying to stay competitive, so they took out everything that they deemed unnecessary to keep the price as low as possible. If you want backwards compatibility purchase the 60GB or 80GB now, as there are plenty of those SKUs in stock at retail.
The 40GB is for the people who either don't want backwards compatibility or want the cheapest PS3 availab...

Well if you think about it the Wii would be the best choice for Capcom. Its install base in Japan far surpasses that of the PS3 and 360. I personally believe that they made the best choice for themselves.

Kulupoo, I think that blu ray discs are very durable and scratch resistant. There have been numerous tests on youtube where individuals would scratch the disc, and it could still be read by a blu-ray player. The discs are very resistant to damage.

I just want to point out, if nobody's noticed, that the article is talking about MGS4 and the FFXIII Spin-off Versus only. It says nothing about the main Final Fantasy XIII, which by the way, is the one that everyone is anticipating. I know for sure that I'm way more interested in the main game than Versus. I'm sure that Versus will be an excellent game, but I'd rather play the original FFXIII. Scratch that, I'd rather play both of these titles.

I'm pretty sure the A.I was dumbed down for the demo, and would be much more difficult in the final version. Also, if you look towards the top left corner of the screen you can see Snake's health bar and when he's just about to die -- it regenerates. The player has over 20 rations in the demo(bottom left corner of the screen), allowing them to get shot as many times as they want. I agree completely Genki. Square-Enix should keep the story intact and do some modifications here and there. New weapons,dungeons, and bosses would be awesome. I'm thinking that maybe Square-Enix could do some light modifications to the materia system, without completely changing it.

1. SDF never made up an article about the PS3s power. The site you may be thinking about is PSU, I believe. And in the the case of PSU, they claimed that Valve asked them to remove it from the website. Take that however you want.

I remember when I first got Snake Eater, I was really disappointed. The first level was slow and I really didn't like the controls. Everything felt weird and ackward. After I completed the first level, however, and saw the opening movie to the game -- I was amazed.
