Compared to GTA IV it's leagues ahead in terms of character development and narrative direction, playing a stereotypical eastern European immigrant in a dull city with no mission diversity was the lowest point of the GTA series imo. They took the core element away from the series in GTA IV which was the fun factor.
Now the new consoles use the x86 architecture I can only see PC being lead platform in the future. Makes the devs job much more simple when porting titles, look how many games have already been ported from PC to PS4 in the matter of months of the console being released. Consoles will now have to push their exclusive titles much harder as they are the main reason PC gamers would consider purchasing a console, atleast in my case anyway.
This news is meaningless, the new generation has only just started but there are more reports and articles about the successors to the xbone and PS4. If Microsoft or Sony talk about new consoles even in 3 years time that will be a slap in the face to every customer tied to their brand, this is all the more reason to stick with PC as a main platform for gaming. Se3 multiplayer is fun but nothing I would spend an enormous amount of time playing. The single player made me want to buy the game tbh, the slow motion bullet physics is why I enjoy the game not exactly innovative but a refreshing touch to the boring fps genre.

Fable 2 and Prototype? Really? Crackdown is worth it but deus ex can be played on PC. Surely the uncharted series would be up there and god of war for last gen must haves.

Kinda sounds like borderlands level balancing. I remember joining a level 40 game when I was level 20 and the damage scaling was such that 1 hit would effectively kill you.
Rockstar have never failed to deliver on the hype that their games create, that can't be said about most games from big publishers these days.
A big map doesn't mean anything without an incentive for the gamer to explore. GTA games never fail to fill their worlds with intricate details that gamers like me love to find. The quirky gameplay and the stealth mechanics are the reason I love mgs, the map size is irrelevant imo but it is nice to have more freedom and not being confined to linear map levels. In summary map size does not in anyway shape or form equate to more value for money when purchasing a game like mgs imo.
I play PC mostly but I do know that the ps4 is compatible or is going to be compatible with keyboard n mouse so the controller won't be an issue. The game was doomed as soon as it went f2p anyway.
The tenkaichi series was so boring the combat was just cutscene after cutscene, the controls were horrid, the gameplay was far less fluid than budakai 3 which imo is the best dbz/GT game off all time.

Exactly, the size of the console alone is off putting for me. I'd buy it if the new slim version is released with gears of war but as of now there is nothing about the xbone that interests me.
Mid range pc's will also have decent cpu's with higher clockrates, the gpu can run more efficiently with better architectural components.
Real PC gamers just play on PC rather than any other platform, hardware specs have little to do with PC gaming as a whole. The majority of PC gamers play games like LoL, Starcraft, Dota and CS on mid end hardware due to them not being able to afford a high end rig so stating that only people with hardware specs better than the next gen consoles are true PC gamers is very naive.
