Yup, I did the same. Amazon Prime allows you to sign up for free, and get all the goodies.

Somehow i am not surprised by this at all.
But the main trend with digital distribution is to cut out publisher and make it easier for developers to sell to the public themselves, so they better think of it that way.

So far only PC, but I assume if it does well in Early Access and sells well, they will consider consoles, especially since there are not many skateboard games on there.

This is a remaster of the 2005 game which was released on PS2 and PC. They are working on a new installment though, Asterix and Obelix XXL 3, scheduled for next year.
Totally agree, i was bothered by the voice overs as well
indeed, but still nice to see it sell decent enough.. maybe that'll give the devs a chance to learn from it and make a better sequel.
they aim to make movies/tv shows based on their game franchises like Judge Dredd and Rogue Trooper. Rebellion owns 2000 AD, so they have a lot of comic book franchises in their repertoire.
All the haters get a chance to try out, for free .. why not give it a whirl, and then continue hating but at least be informed :)
