You know what CD Project should do? They should just stop entirely being creative and just take a poll in the internet, at let them decide each single aspect of the game. Let the kids on the internet decide!. Or better yet stop being unique, stop following your instincts about what is appropriate or not for a game , Creativity is overrated!!! and just give us the same crap every other studio usually give us

Maybe not just "another souls game" because that's kind of pejorative... but it kind of look like it borrowed some of the mechanics, and slightly the designs and story:
- there's a curse (or similar), that makes you dead and alive
- I saw a Murakumo
- There seems to be hollow creatures (or similar)
- The guy that's restrained looked a ltl bit like the Lost sinner.

The villains presentation felt a little goofy. And a bit uninspired (the whole prison thing, like arkham?)
What they showed later with the New York open gameplay was amazing
Maybe but the difference was that Sony showed us fully functional games. The last of us is playable (and mind-blowing) Tsushima seems playable (and mind-blowing), Kojima's game is so weird that i don't know what I witness, And spider-man is definitely playable (and mind-blowing) and coming this year.
Also is not fair to suddenly forget the AAA games that already came this year, is not like they are not giving you anything for 2018, right?

The slipspace engine could be really special, the greatest ever made. But again, it didn't show. Cause all they showed us was not gameplay but a very short cinematic any competent studio in the world could make (even without slipspace)
