I really think most of this is just myth. Of course there are historical facts like the collaboration btw sony and nintendo to make a cd console, and how the big N decided to just cancel the whole thing... But I'm talking about the part were sony got salty and wanted "revenge" , is just ridiculous... Projects like this get cancel all the time and Sony probably just saw the opportunity to make a lot of money. You don't embark yourself in a very risky business like the PS1 was...

Quite a poor article. He's just describing what anyone can say about MGS, and not really telling us why it captured his imagination or how. Yeah it's a stealth game, yeah is not like Mario..."Oh I just love MGS" What else? Why? Something! If I didn't know better I'd say the game destroyed your imagination because you are not using any of its remains here.
