wait ... is this even PUBG anymore?
Seems more like Fortnite now.
No Cyberpunk or Medium?
@Dabigsiebowski
5700XT was targeted at RTX 2070, kinda matched it but failed to match the 2070 Super.
So yea it beats out 1080 but it doesn't compete with 2080 does it?
So it ain't top-tier card as I was referring too?
Mile Morales gameplay, obvs. Updated REVIII gameplay as well.
A new IP from Naughty_Dog would be better. A Sci-fi title was rumored? They can do a 10sec. tease, maybe?
A TLOU II Factions with PS5 upgrade reveal will be really cool too.
A SOCOM unveil might be on the cards?
Dunno about the elusive Silent Hill and FFXVI reveal ...
AMD drivers have become notoriously buggy recently. And it takes them quite a few months to get them fixed.
5700XT had the throttling issue at launch. A subsequent driver update fixed it.
It was supposed to beat RTX 2070 and it did came close to it but alas, Nvidia launched RTX 2070 Super at similar price point and hence 5700XT kinda flopped.
Well HBM2 is used in Radeon's top tier cards and AMD hasn't launched any gaming-centric top tier cards after Radeon VII. So obviously no HBM2 equipped cards since the VII.
The top tier Radeon RX 6000 might come with HBM2. Escpecially because they market the top tier one as both as a gaming card as well as a card for productivity.
AMD drivers causes serious headaches during GPU launches actually.
@Zombieburger638
Yea, I absolutely agree with you mate.
This has always been the opposite. Nvidia nailed the reference design this year.
@yeahokwhatever
AMD marketed the Radeon VII aggressively as the RTX 2080 rival back then, pricing it very closely to the RTX.
But performance was somewhere between RTX 2070 and 2080. Only in titles particularly AC Odyssey, Monster Hunter and Shadow of Tomb Raider did the Radeon VII had neck-n-neck performance with 2080. For every other games it lagged behind quite a bit.
So, the RX6000 "trading blows in games directly with the 3080" .... can't at all b...
@ziggurcat
HDMI 1.4 can do 4K @ 30fps max.
HDMI 2.0 added 4K @ 60fps and HDR support.
But yea its a bummer Series S comes with HDMI 1.4 cable.
They also revealed it in Fortnite.
Its still HBM2, right?
This game and its predecessor needs the Switch port.
Why do you say that?
I know fans are anticipating FF16 but who's developing it?
Luminous Productions is developing the Project Athia(working title). And I am more interested in that.
And Enix also have FF7 Remake Pt.II in development.
...
If P.Athia turns out to be FF16, then, well good. Or else push P.Athia as the next big title along with FF7R.2.
And have FF16 come out later.
16th : "Here are the game updates and some new ones too and tune in on 18th for a hardware teardown and UI demonstration"
18th: "So now that you have seen the hardware inside and the UI it'll run, lets talk price ...."
They're targeting huge number of enemies(100-1000) to be rendered during gameplay complete with physics and gore. That is quite taxing. And the engine has been optimized to utilize 8 cores.
Not bashing CI games, a random thought:
Just release the Squadron 42 portion asap.
This'll keep people engaged and interested. While the persistent universe gets worked upon.
This might also help the devs address some bugs which might be common to both modes/game, early on. So that the same bug don't crop up in the Star Citizen game.
Okay ... this looks freakin good now @ 4K. Won't bash it anymore at least in looks department.
Its the white console in a very dimly lit area, it seems?
So no fans of the game Scorn? Is it still a launch game?
