I think the reason this game is getting so much hype now is because 1. its naughty dog 2. its their second IP this gen. Nice to see them move on from uncharted.
That was probably my favorite JRPG this gen. Way better then FF13. however i can deal without the random battles

I've read why they didn't want to remake it, I don't want them to remake it. but if they are going to listen to fans they would of remade it.
on FFXIV, they are listening to them now. I was talking about launch the game was a massive failure. because they ignore the simplest fan feedback. you think that if they listened the first time around they would need to rebuild it?
they don't listen to the fans...FF14 is a prime example of that.
If they did, FF14 wouldn't of failed so badly, FF13-2 would not exist and even though I don't want it, The FF7 remake would be happening right now.

and i really thought FF13 sucked compared to the old FF. Dumb story, boring battle system, linear as hell and that gets it a fucking 39/40..this must also add outdated visuals for the full 40.
never thought it was a good idea to begin with. I liked FF7 but its because of the memories of when I first played the game. Who is to say that it will recreate those memories. Aeries dying won't have its impact as it did the first time we saw it. Changes can be made to the game that will ruin it, and with the way square is now I wouldn't even want them to touch this game.

this idea won't change, lots of the older generation still believe games are for children, like my parents. Parents will take the ratings for a movie seriously but not a game..so annoying
I never worked at a retail store but I have seen it happen at my local gamestop. The clerk even explains the content to the parent but the parent ignores him just saying "yeah uhhuh -nodding-" and continues to purchase the game.
i agree, I think those 4 should of been on the top 5 including FF6. I can't believe he put FF13 that high.

I don't get it...do they really think they can start charging more a game after a couple a years and expect players to actually join. More will just leave if they haven't already. After a couple of years MMOs goes free not the other way around.
type zero was announced along side FF13 and FFv13. it was originally name FF AGITO 13. so it took them 5 years to make the game.
I can't say that releasing a game every 1-2 years is a bad thing. the first 10 Final Fantasy games came out on a 1-2 year basis
that was my guess as well, a friend of mine and my brother both have the new slim models and it worked fine for them. I have the old 60gig model, guess its time for a change.
I had a glitch when drake drops down and has to take cover because he is being fired at and a group of people riding on horse back rescues him. It wouldn't trigger the cut scene, I restarted from a checkpoint and restarted the game but I had to restart my PS3 for it to work. It was probably the mission before this one.
I also had a glitch with the big door just before he enters the atlantis of the sand.
those glitches really killed the game for me.
most likely PS4 considering how long it took him to make GT5, what was it? like 5 years? the PS3 will be around but it'll be at the end of its life by then.
it could be an 3 hours long and I'm betting lots of people won't care. They buy COD to play online, I'm surprised COD still bothers with having a campaign.
how is it a big month if those titles are going to the ps3 as well? and why would i want to play a remastered 10 year game? when I didn't like it the first time.
