When the time comes to be full GaaS, no company would make any "silly plastic box", we'll talk about who offers the best games or the best service then. For now, streaming games is not as smooth as having hardware, most of the world dont have access to top speed pingless connections.
And even then, I am sure we we'll be praising nintendo for having another successful console for sale.

Days gone wasnt bad at all. I mean, it struggled with the errand boy dilemma in open world games, but even the acclaimed The Witcher 3 had that. But you are a mercenary... So thats part of your job actually.
But, story was cool, gameplay was fun, graphics were decente... You may not like it, but it wasnt bad
But Grandia III was published by Square Enix, wasnt it?? I dont think thats exactly GunGo´s decision...

How would censored nudity affect creativity?? I mean, I HAVENT enjoyed more a game because it had some sort of nudity, EVER. Its a nice add on but its not even justified in most cases.

1080p became, somehow, the standard for this gen, as 720p was last gen, and 2k or even 4k is going for the next, so having a sub 1080p game could impact marketing, rather than the game itself.
Sony has always had weaker hardware than MS, or the most complicated to program for (or both), look where they are. Exclusives matter, but good exclusives is the win formula.

Or.... They could go to any virtual store, and buy it; as they could've done it for the last 3 years, being on sale as low as $9.99 (pc version has been at $5 if i recall correctly) more than once every month.
Additionaly, AC3 was chosen cause its one of the games missing a remaster this gen, along with the first AC. Thats a reason.
Ps3 classic was emulated, in fact, the PSP version also ran on the built in emulator. It was the original PS1 game encrypted on a PBP file signed with Sony Keys compatible with both systems (and Vita, also emulated).
As far as I know, steam version is the same as 1997's PC version, just different distribution. Thats why, supposedly, they have the same issues.
I must say, I dont own PC nor Steam versions, but I do have all other versions, thats the ones I can confirm.
I've had my switch for half a year now. I have the most important first party tires (5, I think) but im struggling to see my self buying any future games. And every time I check the e-store I can only find switch versions of Vita an indie PC games, I need more quality games. Manticore is on my wishlist as of now. But with spiderman hitting next month... Im not sure ill buy it.

Does anyone remember the wii?? I mean, its the same story until now. Sky high sales first two years, with the most innovative games around. After that was just a decline on quality games, not worth buying for 4-5 good games. I'm not trying to say switch will fail, I hope not, since Im waiting for mine to arrive.
What the wii proved is you need immersion to actually enjoy games, whatever the genre. Graphics help a fucking lot.

Plus, once they stop production on any games they usually get even more expensive, even used ones.
