Look at it like this also:
Those that bought the game so far are helping out with the bugs and issues, among other things. The price we paid for on that is 1/2 of what the retail value he's going to put out for. Plus we aren't getting charged extra for the stuff he constantly puts in.
In a way what you suggest could be a workable idea, but this is an independent person doing this vs a corporation. :p
You lost me at Operation Flashpoint. That game was so broken on release.
The racing games though are the only ones they've done that was good. Everything else was bleh.
Cars in a way I can understand, cause it's an actual object they are still creating to this very day, so it makes sense that they'll be able to add in more cars from production.
Features though...I dunno about that.
@Neckbear
You missed all the info on Catherine I see. :p
People are going to be more better off going to GoG or Steam...
So they essentially force you to buy the full game. I have some sinking feeling that EA's going to start pushing this on other demos as well coming out from them.
They already are doing the whole EA pass crap..
And yes I said crap, because apparently they aren't even tied into your account, so if your console messes up in some shape or form, you'd have to get another one. Already had 1 too many customers come in complaining on that issue.
Why do these headlines always have to involve something that will instigate up situations and hits.
What happened to using the term VR? -_-
@EskiJoe
When you look at it, look at who submits the articles. Not one is where anyone else outside of the site submitted the articles. On this one for example, there's 2 other duplicates by other people outside of the site's one.
On a side note, people may try to deny it in total, and yes there's always programs that are made that aren't illegal, but be realistic and honest here, you KNOW for a fact people will go more after the downgrader, ...
You kinda summed up what I was going to type out.
There's a difference between the stuff they use on the field, and commercial use in home.
Also it's sad seeing people jump the gun without reading the article.
*facepalm*
You just proved his point. There's no articles on N4G about them.... You just showed they're on OTHER sites...
It doesn't help though that PirateTom has a point, and in which I also noticed this as the time went by. Mainly every article on here so far talked with the jailbreak has not showed anything legally beneficial.
@SkyGamer
It's true that they went against the contract.
It doesn't help that's he's flaunting around them afterwards. There's a cause and effect people. There's a reason why they went against the contract in the first place.
This guy isn't godly in his business practices, and when you have one of your most talented studios break away, that's a red flag out there.
As much as i'd advocate NOT pirating, it's foolish to think that this will last long.
Edit: Heh I figured as much. It's already been worked on.
"Please, could an intelligent PS3 and KZ2 owner now acknowledge that THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE CONTROLS!!"
There was an issue, but it was people making a huge mountain out of a mole-hill.
They acted as if it was gamebreaking, in which it's not. It's an annoyance, yes, but not gamebreaking.
But please, don't start with the instigating.
If people never complained, there wouldn't be improvements.
Though I have to agree that after playing the beta, they found the middle man in comparison to KZ2. Hated how in the 2nd one a simple pistol felt like 2 tons. The actual issue being was that they made every single weapon overweighted, and didn't balance that per gun.
This is the main problem though is that people complained about was the 'weight' system, which in some areas was legit....
"it seem like a site dedicated to GT would be happier than a pig in shit with the list of cars. but apparently they're not. its not n4g where fanboys bitch about stupid things, its obviously a legitimate problem or we wouldn't be having this discussion."
That's why i said it's people making a mountain out of a mole-hill. I never said there wasn't a problem. That's what the whole analogy means anyways. What it means is that they're trying ...
"Tell that to the 2000 or so people over at gtplanet that are complaining about this list in multiple threads."
People bitch on the internet regardless, so how's this any different?
People making a mountain out of a mole-hill.
"Publishers don't give a shit, they don't care what happens to the customer. Which is the crucial point, because Steam do,"
I'm sorry....what? They're complaining about Steam caring about the customers? Damn you Steam...Damn you...
Despite the fact that this was a sour move by Sony, it still doesn't exclude these devs for trying to take the time to make a public outcry so they can get more publicity for Two Worlds II, which quite honestly I'm still trying to figure out how they got the funds to make a 2nd game.
I mean to be honest, what was the last good game Southpeak MADE. Keyword MADE, not published, made.
"If the Eyetoy is so similar, then why have we not seen similar enthusiasm from PC developers for Eyetoy? "
Why haven't we seen similar enthusiasm for a LOT OF THINGS?
I mean FFS it's a new piece of tech. Of course people are going to be all over it. Why did they go all over the iPad instead of like the tablets when they were first released.
